Querida família! Friends, family, new family... People who just feel drawn to and in support of AlmaOhana.
We are contacting you, our 'ohana', our extended community to ask you for support.
Recently we had to create and hand in a "PIP", the first step of getting building permits for our project. Because of an announced change of laws that can interfere with our plans to create the dream that you all know, building a healing biotope, with a school and a food production lab, wide food forests and water retention landscaping, our tiny homes, guests huts, a shala for all sorts of practices and movement... we had to draw up all the buildings we might need until January. As you see, we had to take a step we mustn't skip and do it now if we ever want to build on the land.
This process was more costly than we had anticipated and now we are still paying that bill of 19 000€ +IVA - which is why we are asking for your help and support if you can.
For now, it means that on top of our ca 800E minimal running costs we'll need to pay ca 2200E additionally per month till autumn.
Therefore we ask you to please, please, if you can, support our cooperative/project with a monthly gift of maybe 10 € or 50 or even a 100 € so that we can keep working on creating a paradise of biodiversity, a healing hub and a learning centre for the community and generations to come. Whatever the amount, you'll be an important help for us to work through these months so that we can continue our work to build up the infrastructure that will allow for us to generate enough income to make it all financially sustainable.
