🌿 Why Gift Economy?

For our upcoming group, we’ve chosen to work with gift economy.
No fixed price. Instead, after receiving the work, you’re invited to contribute what feels right — not from guilt or obligation, but from the natural movement of generosity that arises when we feel cared for and connected.

We know this can feel new. You might wonder:
✨ Am I giving enough?
✨ What if I can’t give much?
✨ What is this worth?

These questions are natural. The world we live in has taught us to tie value to numbers and worth to output. Stepping into something softer, based on trust, can feel strange at first.

For us, this choice is an act of resistance to the idea that healing and belonging are commodities only for those who can afford them. We want this work to be accessible to all who feel called.

At the same time, your generosity — in whatever form it takes — sustains us. Right now, we are at the beginning of our shared work. We live simply, and the gifts we receive support us in building these spaces together.

🌱 Gift economy is an experiment, a practice, and a trust.
We believe in it because we believe in the work.

🌿 Why we are doing this work together

Our connection didn’t come from an idea or a plan.
It came from life itself — moments in our community when we were called to hold each other through difficulty.

Friendship. Safety. Being seen.
The raw, human themes that move us all.

In those spaces, we discovered we have a shared language —
a language of emotion, of showing up fully, of listening with our whole bodies.
We witnessed the power of being held, and the transformation that happens when vulnerability is met with safety.

This is where our work sprouted from.
Not theory.
But lived experience.

✨ Elinor carries her roots as an Arab Jew from Palestine–Israel, alongside her path as a naturopath, somatic experiencing practitioner, and vocalist.
✨ Jade walks as a Somatic & Energetic Practitioner, weaving somatic movement therapy, family constellation, and energy healing to bridge body and the invisible.

Together, we offer a space of safety and permission —
a space where all of you are welcome.

Something new is emerging. 🌿
Elinor and I are beginning our journey of working together.

We are two women who care deeply about people, community, and connection.
We hold space for the raw and the tender — for whatever arises within you.
Moments of falling apart. Moments of gathering yourself again.

Our first offering is a small, intimate group process exploring Belongings.
A space to rest, to be seen, and to know you are part of something real.

Over 6 weeks, we’ll explore belonging to:
✨ our bodies
✨ our families
✨ our communities
✨ nature
✨ our lands
✨ our roots and lineage

Along the way you will receive:
🌿 somatic practices to ground you in your body
🌿 the gentle support of medicinal herbs
🌿 rituals to honor and mark your journey
🌿 songs to carry us together
🌿 the belonging that comes from sitting in circle with others
🌿 the strength of ancestral connection and support
🌿 the gift of being seen and witnessed, so your longing is no longer carried in isolation

We’re keeping it close — just 6 people.

💻 Pre-call → 9 Sept, 18:30 CET
🌿 Group begins → 16 Sept (6 weeks, 2 hrs each)
💌 Exchange → gift economy

If your heart softens or leans in, leave a 🌿 or reach out — we’ll share more.

This is the work we are called to show up for.
And maybe, it’s a place for you.

Something new is growing.
A seed Jade and I have planted together.
A meeting of two women who care deeply about people, community, and connection —
who believe in the power of being truly seen,
and in the quiet courage it takes to show up for ourselves and each other.

We are starting here…
with a small circle,
a safe place to soften,
to bring the raw and the tender,
to fall apart and be held,
to gather yourself again.

We will explore what it means to belong —
to our bodies, our families, our communities,
to the land beneath us,
to our roots,
to this changing world.

We don’t know exactly where this journey will lead,
but this first step feels right.
If your heart leans in, leave a 🌿
and we’ll share more when the time comes.

I would not be able to go through thies times without music.
Recently, I started to sing in Arabic, and although I don't speak the language, it feels so natural .
My grandparents and parents all speak Arabic ( of different origins), so it was always around me and I guess in me as well.
Singing in my ancestral language, especially now, is my way to pray for peace and life to thrive on my home land ✨️🙏🏽

I love carrots! The wild ones!

The root is a secret only for the ones who know when to dig it. The leaves are nice as greens in shakes and cooking.
The seeds known for their medicinal properties.
But the parts I love the most are the Flowers!
They bloom when nearly everything else is ending. This huge white pad of flowers shines to the distance and attracts many insects.

Pakoras of Wild Carrots flowers!

Better collect the flowers in budding, but also young flowers are ok.
Leave some of the stem, it is useful while cooking, and tasty too..

For the pakora mixture:
About one glass of chickpeas flour.
1 spoon of Curry powder
¼ tea spoon of salt.
Add water and mix till you get a wet paste.

Warm up oil in frying pan.
Dip the flowers in the paste and place them in the pan, stems up.

Zaatar is one of my childhood flavors and smells. My grandparents used to make it by themselves, and it would feel up the house with its spiciness.
This platform is one of the most strong antibacterial anti-inflammatory support we can give out body in time of need. It's a core traditional Arabic food and medicine .

I am grateful to be able to keep making it in my home in Portugal and receive its medicine and connection to my lineage.
What are some of your traditional lineage food and medicine?

Food is an integral part of many cultures, connecting us to our family, friends, and ancestors.
It is a powerful source of community and identity and a way to share our stories, traditions, and values. Our recipes are often a reflection of our heritage and can contain a wealth of information about our past and present. Food brings us together and helps us to form a sense of belonging. It can be a source of comfort and joy and a reminder of the people and places that make us who we are.
Amidst the horrors that are happening in the Middle East , the land I was born in , cooking is a meaningful way of coping .
I am of an Arabic- Jewish lineage from North Africa and the Middle East . Cooking food that is part of my lineage is one of the ways for me to pray for peace between the two parts of my identity and the knowing in my body of this possibility .

In the photo is a traditional food of the Middle East , rice filled in green leaves , using the seasonal greens around us to create a beautiful nurishing plate is a deeply rooted art of the people of Middle East.

Our first foraging day workshop in the south of Alentejo, Portugal, was so magical.
We had a really beautiful and curious group of people joining us to learn about the medicinal and edible plants of our region.
We created a delicious fire-cooked meal from the plants around us and a medicinal balm based on the flowers and plants we foraged.
We will continue to offer more of those workshops; focusing on different plants and topics, like plants for women, dreaming plants, and more, so stay tuned 😍
