Unfortunately our home and business has just been completely destroyed by the fire on Sunday October 15. In about an hour fire raged through, ravaging everything in it's path. The girls and I had managed to leave in time, and Nuno tried to stay on a little until he had to run away. Almost everything we have built over the past 10 years has been destroyed. We have lost three yurts, all fully set up and equipped for guests and ourselves. Three kitchens, three fridges, ovens, bathrooms. All the infrastructure of pipes, water tanks, electric cables and solar system. Even our half finished house is almost back to the stage it was at as a complete ruin. On top of this we have of course lost all our personal possessions, clothing and our children's toys and clothing, tramoline, play area, swimming pool etc. Our plan at this point is to start again, rebuild and continue offering our special yoga retreats and well being holidays. We have been receiving amazing support from friends and family, which is keeping us strong. We have a wonderful community of teachers and friends who have offered assistance and help. We will start next week with the clean up and clear out of all the destruction. We will then start to move forward with regenerating the land, rebuilding yurts and other accommodation for our guests, and rebuilding, and completing our house for our family. We can only do this with help and support. If you feel you can add a donation of any size to our fund it will be massively appreciated and an enormous help.

I don’t think any of my local yoga class folk are on insta but I am so pleased today to say that classes will resume Mondays 10am in the biblioteca Pedrogao Grande. Drop in classes. Beginners welcome. By donation. 😍😍🙏🙏

So this was my first attempt at putting together a little vid clip of our retreat. Thanks to the gorgeous women who took part and did the filming. Giving me the chance to faff around today and make this and avoid my TEFL course!! 😂😘😂

A bunch of first snaps from last weeks gloriously friendly retreat. Every time we host a Nourish in Nature week we learn so much. Our closing circles are always so special and when words like un-pretentious, authentic, and thank you get repeated over and over again - we know we are onto a good thing. 😊

Our Nourish retreats include 2-3 hours of morning yoga, six nights accommodation, daily workshops in herbs and nutrition specifically for women including hormone health and adrenal fatigue, complementary massage and retreat handbook. 🌿🌸🙌
