Refine your Down-Dog for better strength, space, and stability:

❌ Incorrect Form:
– Shoulders internally rotate
– Traps squeeze up toward ears
– Fingers pointing inward
– Tension builds in neck and upper back

✅ Correct Form:
– Shoulders externally rotate
– Shoulder blades spread wide
– Traps soften away from ears
– First fingers point forward or slightly outward

🕊️ Pigeon Pose – Proper Alignment Matters! 🧘‍♀️
Get the most from your stretch while protecting your joints and spine:

✅ Correct Form:
– Hips and shoulders level
– Front thigh spirals down
– Spine tall and core engaged
– Equal weight distribution on both hips
– Gentle and mindful positioning

❌ Common Mistakes to Avoid:
– Hip collapsing or shifting off to one side
– Uneven shoulders, twisting the spine
– Forcing the pose instead of settling into it

💡 Tip: Use props like a block or blanket under the hip if needed for support.

Today 7th August is the celebration of the amazing 12 year Tapas as performed by Babaji's Master Swamiji and completed 64 years ago.

Babaji : "Our Guru said, “If you can keep the mind quiet in between eyebrows, quiet and controlled for one hour, that is the real meditation. Till then, you are trying to meditate,” He used to say. Like that, if you can do it for eight to ten hours in a stretch, at least minimum, then you can do tapas. So, tapas is not an easy thing, not everybody can do. So, you have to do tapas to become Self-Realized. Then the mind becomes quiet. That is why the word ‘tapa’ is used. It means you have to cook it properly to make it ripe, cleanse it properly. It has to give up all its imaginations and become quiet. So that is how things can happen, not otherwise."
