Sports Trainers are First Aid and CPR trained personnel aimed at providing a safer environment for all Australians who engage in sport. Trainers help to reduce the incidence of injury and limit its severity should an injury occur, effectively making sports safer. This is predominately achieved by;

Preparing players for competition and implementing appropriate injury prevention protocols
Providing appropriate and immediate management of injuries
Providing immediate crisis management of severe injuries
Informed referral of injuries to more qualified health professionals for further advice and management
Educating players and coaching staff with regards to return to play principles and management
Working with health professionals to ensure safe return to play for injured players.

Skiers’ knees, cyclists’ backs, and runners’ Achilles tendons are more prone to injury, and strong hip abductors can help prevent injuries in knees, ankles, and feet. Strengthen the four trouble spots below by doing at least two sets of ten of the suggested exercises several days per week.

Many approaches inside traditional practices have been severely distorted and are misunderstood.
The use of various functional, physiological, historical and cultural prisms increase your chances of understanding what, when, if, how much and who. (that was, at least, my attempt at approaching this)

Other drills and practices took on their own culture, central dogma and stage where perhaps it was never intended to be so.
