The Yoga Midwife - Birth Coach, Doula & Yoga for Mums

The Yoga Midwife - Birth Coach, Doula & Yoga for Mums Pregnancy & birth should be beautiful life experiences. I provide holistic yoga, prenatal & postnatal care and doula services.

My training at University of West London and at The Farm Midwifery Centre in Tennessee has given me a passion for providing gold standard care. There's always more to learn and I have enjoyed learning about complementary therapies. I offer pregnancy reflexology, rebozo techniques, breathing and relaxation exercises, pregnancy wat-su (water shiatsu) and pregnancy & postnatal yoga!

The past week have been full in the most intense, beautiful way…
🌟 3 births in 3 days 🌟

Being called into that space again and again, holding families as they meet their babies, is part of what I love about my work.
It reminds me how much steadiness, presence, and continuity really matter in those moments — having someone there who already knows you, your story, your preferences… it changes how it all feels.

After a few very full days, I’m now stepping out of the on-call rhythm for a little while to rest and reset.

If you’re thinking ahead and wondering about birth support, here’s where things are currently sitting:

📅 April — full
May — off-call
June — full
July — 2 spaces available
August — off-call
September — 1 space available
October — 2 spaces available

I tend to work quite closely with a small number of clients at a time so I can offer that deeper level of support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early days after.

📞 If that’s something you’re looking for, it’s always worth reaching out early to explore what it could look like for you.

Little moments of stillness… in between the on-call life 💜

☀️ Eggs drying in the sunA child running free on verdant grassAnd me, quietly holding space for what’s coming next.

📞 The next couple of months will be full.I’m on call for several births…ready to leave at any moment, day or night

✨ This work asks for flexibility, presence, and deep trust in the unknown And it’s exactly why I limit the number of women I support.

Because when your baby is ready, you deserve someone who can truly be there 🤗

If you’re pregnant and thinking about your birth, now is the time to reach out.We can talk through what support could look like for you.

💠 What feels unfamiliar at first… starts to feel natural with time.

This is the same flow we’re working with in class right now. Each week, you build on it. You soften into it. You trust your body a little more.

Becoming a mum isn’t about getting it “right” — it’s about learning how to listen, adjust, and move with confidence.

This is where that begins 💜

If you want to feel more prepared, more connected, and more at ease in your body… come join us.

✨ You’re ‘low risk’… but that doesn’t mean birth will feel calm or in control.

I was reminded of this recently when someone shared their story. They had chosen their care provider carefully, hoping for a gentle, supported experience… but instead they felt unheard, overlooked, and unsupported.

I hear this often, even when everything looks “perfect on paper,” birth can feel overwhelming. Feeling unsupported or out of control doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong — it’s not a reflection of you, it’s a reflection of the system around you.

🌟 That’s why I focus on helping first-time mums feel seen, informed, and empowered. Through prenatal yoga, birth prep guidance, and doula support, you can enter birth feeling confident and held — no matter your risk status.

Birth isn’t about being perfect or following a checklist. It’s about being supported, trusting your body, and knowing you’re not alone.

🤗 If you’re worried about feeling unsupported in birth, I can help you navigate it safely and confidently. Book a call with me, let’s have a chat (link in bio).

This is why I do what I do.

This client underwent a private Birth Prep Course with me in the lead up to the birth of her baby girl. One of the topics on the course was Infant Feeding and we covered they physiology and the common hurdles and how to overcome them.

🤱🏻 Breastfeeding isn’t always straightforward in those first days. A few small tweaks, the right support, and things can shift so quickly.

💪🏼 When a mum feels confident, baby feels it too. Feeding becomes calmer, easier, more connected.

✨ This is something we go into during my private birth prep sessions, so you’re not left figuring it out when you’re tired and in it.

➡️ If you want to feel more prepared and supported going into birth and those early days, you can message me anytime 💌

✨ Birth is not just something that happens to you. It’s something you can prepare for, understand, and move through with confidence.

This 2.5 hour Birth Preparation Workshop is designed to help you feel more ready for the real experience of labour. Not just the theory, but the practical side of birth.

Together we’ll explore:
• simple yoga movements that support labour
• breathing techniques that help you stay calm and focused
• ways your partner can support you physically and emotionally
• positions and tools that make labour easier to work with

You’ll leave with skills you can actually use when the day comes, and a clearer understanding of what your body is doing during birth.

This is a small, intimate workshop so there’s plenty of space for questions and practice.

✨ Saturday 24th January
🕙 10:00 – 12:30
📍 Vilamoura, Algarve
💶 €50 (includes your birth partner)

Spaces are limited to 5 couples and the workshop is coming up soon. If you’re in your third trimester and want to approach birth feeling prepared rather than unsure, this is for you.

💜 When you understand your body, birth feels very different.

❓What does a doula actually do?

I get asked this a lot.

Honestly, it’s quite simple. I’m there with you. Properly with you.

During pregnancy and birth, I support you in ways that are emotional, physical, and practical.

⭐️ It can look like sitting close when a contraction feels intense.
⭐️ It can look like reminding you to breathe when everything speeds up.
⭐️ It can look like helping you move because your back hurts.
⭐️ It can look like keeping the room calm when things feel busy.
⭐️ It can look like helping you ask questions or say what you need.
⭐️ And it can mean supporting your partner too, because they’re going through it as well.

I don’t replace your midwife or doctor.
I’m not there to push a certain kind of birth.
And I’m definitely not there to promise a “perfect” experience.

⭐️ I’m there so you don’t feel alone in it.

Birth can feel overwhelming. It can feel medical. It can feel uncertain. Having someone steady beside you makes a difference. Someone who knows you, who understands what matters to you, and who stays.

Whether you’re planning a home birth here in central Algarve, preparing for a hospital birth in Faro, or still figuring out what feels right — having the right support around you makes a real difference to how the whole experience unfolds.

➡️ If you’re pregnant and want to talk about what that kind of support could look like for you, just send me a message.

💖 There is something very meaningful about being trusted at the beginning of someone’s journey.

Paula and I had our first video connection call and spoke about her plans, her hopes, and the concerns quietly sitting in the background. These early conversations really matter.

✨ When a woman tells me she felt calm, at ease, heard and reassured, I know the foundation is right.

💫 Support in pregnancy and postpartum is not about overwhelming you with information. It is about listening carefully. Holding space. Helping you feel steady and confident in your own decisions.

💫 This is what I offer in every consultation and every home visit. Calm presence. Informed guidance. Space for you.

➡️ If you are considering prenatal or postnatal home visits, birth support, or simply want to explore your options, a Connection Call is a gentle first step.

You do not have to navigate this alone.
