My name is Margaux, massage therapist certified by VTCT international academy in Brighton,Uk.Qualified in holistic therapies such as Sweedish massage, pre-natal massage,Aromatherapy and Reflexology .

Along my travels around the world I discovered new cultures and alternative approaches to life and therapies,i undertook and got inspired by diverse courses such as Reiki, thai massage,myofascial release, deep tissue, Cupping and moxibustion which are also part of my practise . I am equally fascinated by the scientific and spiritual aspect of well being which reflect on my work.

Massage therapy allows the body to heal itself,lower blood pressure, increase blood circulation and lymph flow,relax muscles,improve range of motion,and has great neurohormonal effects:

It creates endorphins, which are compounds known to reduce pain and produce a sense of euphoria. It elevate levels of dopamine, which is released by the hypothalamus. Dopamine influences fine motor activity like painting or playing a musical instrument. It affects intuition, inspiration, joy, and enthusiasm.

Oxytocin is another neurohormone produced by massage therapy. It supports feelings of attachment and can help during pregnancy, birthing, and lactation. Massage therapy has also been shown to reduce levels of Cortisol , the stress related neurohormone produced by the adrenal glands. Finally, by encouraging sleep, massage can increase the availability of growth hormones, which promote cell division and is involved in tissue repair, regeneration, and healing.

It is a wholesome experience benefiting Mind,Body and Soul.

Massagem terapêutica permite que o corpo se cure a si mesmo. Baixa a pressão arterial, aumenta a circulação sanguínea e o fluxo de linfa, relaxa os músculos, melhora a amplitude de movimento, e tem grandes efeitos neuro-hormonais
