Welcome home may 2026

Quinta Ten Chi is in an alchemical transformation moment!!!

The storm has taken away some of the historical landmarks of the place, which sadly will not be possible to be replaced, AND it opened up much space for newness!!!!

This is also present in the social field which is experimenting with new decision making ways and also new ways all together to be at Ten Chi. 

If you are passionate for dance, community,  nature and connection with Spirit we invite you tpo enter a journey that could make Ten Chi your home. 

In particular we are looking for people with Syntropic Agroforestry or Permaculture wisdom, and wood working, carving and building skills

Storm HELP!

You are invited for what we hope to be the last clearing of the forest, right in time for the beginning of spring to take over the newly exposed land.
Before letting space for the new, we want to also spend some time to honour the trees that have died in the storm, so on Sunday we will have a tree funeral, ending in a clearing bonfire!
Join us to celebrate their life and death, together with the beginning of spring.

Welcome Home

We are still looking for some wonderful souls that love being present in the body, listening to Nature and making life a prayer!

WELCOME HOME FEBRUARY 2026

Experience life at Quinta Ten Chi, a vibrant community of practice based on deep listening.

We are opening our doors on the weekend 20th to 22nd of February again after more than a year, for new people to explore life in the magical forest. We are looking for people that complement the current skill set:

1 - People with skills in CARPENTRY AND WOOD WORK, as the forest has donated lots of wood in the late storms, and we have big renovation plans!

2 - People with skills in PERMACULTURE, AGROFORESTRY and GARDENING as we have a big forest to tend and we want to also incorporate food growing in our practices.

Part of our current reality is to support a more stable and committed social field through the Recurrent Residents (RR) group, formed mostly by long term volunteers, which since last year has been prototyping agreements and culture at QTC.

As expressed by the name, RR come and go from QTC depending on their life commitments, and coordinate their presence through a shared online calendar. After almost a year of experimentation we are now opening the opportunity to new people by offering the opportunity to enter the "Become a Recurrent Residents Track".
We noticed that it takes time to truly feel if QTC is the space for you, so we invite people to explore before coming to a place of deeper commitment.

We invite you to join us to support the forest in recovering from the recent storms on the weekend 14 & 15 and 21 & 22 of February. We were extremely lucky as NOBODY WAS HURT and no MAJOR damage happened to the buildings, and we did lost quite a few big giant, beautiful trees.

More than 20 trees all together, leaving giant tangles of branches throughout the property, some of which is unreachable.

We are starting to clear what we can and dreaming of how to incorporate some of the fallen trees in the landscape as they are too big to be moved, even by cutting….so this is the invitation for YOU - clear and dream with us a new phase of the forest, with the forest!!!

So it will be clearing and dreaming, good company, interesting conversations and heartfelt connections, and if you sign up for it, it might even be a free lunch…….
