Sleeping Disorders: When My Brain Just Won't Shut Up
Ah, sleep.
That elusive state of relaxation that we all crave but never seem to get enough of. For some lucky folks, sleep comes easy. But for the rest of us, it's like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded.
is my arch-nemesis. No matter how much I beg, plead, or threaten it, my brain just won't shut off at night. It's like my thoughts are on a sugar high, bouncing around my skull like a bunch of hyperactive kangaroos.
I've tried every trick in the book to try and quiet my brain. Meditation? More like mental ma********on. Warm milk? More like a one-way ticket to Snoozeville. Counting sheep? More like a cruel joke played by the universe to remind me of how hopelessly sleep-deprived I am.
