Curveballs push you. I’m getting better at hitting them back. 8 weeks ago my herniated disc flared up and I was back to living on ibuprofen for about a month. My only exercise = short, flat terrain walks 😩. Easy to fall into a dark cloud mindset when you can’t do the things you love. Reframing came in the form of a forensic level focus on diet, building my cooking skills and researching alternative exercises for when I could train. I’ve been back in the gym consistently for the past 4 weeks pain free. Hanging ab exercises and cables for the win.
