As a former Police Officer back home in Fiji, I continue to follow developments closely and remain connected with my batch of officers whom I was recruited alongside. I will always support the Force in any way I can.
One thing I am always proud to speak about is my previous work before joining the caregiving industry. Often, when I share that I was once an officer, the first response I receive is, “Well, I feel safe now,” followed by genuine curiosity about my past service. I truly enjoy meeting local officers here, exchanging experiences, and even receiving light-hearted invitations to join their teams—always a good laugh.
With that said, a heartfelt congratulations from Fiji Prime In-Home Care to you, Madam Batch. Looking back to the day we began our recruitment journey together—the struggles, the sweat, the perseverance, and the shared determination to make a difference—it is truly rewarding to see that hard work come full circle.
This achievement is truly well-deserved. May you continue to lead with God at the center, rise above negativity, and always make decisions guided by wisdom, integrity, and courage.
Congratulations once again on becoming the first woman to be appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police in Fiji—a historic and inspiring milestone.
