Ingredients (2 cups):

1 cup low-fat or oat milk (unsweetened)

1 cup water

1–2 black tea bags (or loose black tea)

2–3 crushed cardamom pods

1 small piece of cinnamon stick (optional)

½ tsp ginger (fresh or powdered, optional for warmth)

1–2 tsp honey or stevia (instead of sugar)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, bring water, cardamom, and cinnamon to a boil.

Add the tea and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Pour in milk, lower the heat, and let it simmer another 3–4 minutes.

Sweeten with honey or stevia.

Strain into cups and enjoy your light, creamy, and heart-friendly karak.
