IPhAQ Hosts “Pharmacy Pathways” Session Under IBPC Converging Care
Doha, September 25: As part of the IBPC Converging Care initiative, the Indian Pharmacists Association Qatar (IPhAQ) successfully organized an informative session titled “Pharmacy Pathways – Licensing Steps and Professional Networking” at IICC Kanjani Hall, Al Thumama.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Ms. Jyothi, followed by the presidential address of Mr. Ashraf KP, President of IPhAQ. The session was formally inaugurated by Mr. Hesham Raheem, Vice President of IBPC. A special felicitation was delivered by Mr. E. P. Abdurahman, President of the Indian Sports Centre (ISC).
The technical sessions featured prominent speakers:
• Ms. Jensy Mehboob, Pharmacist, presented on Pharmacist Examination Readiness (NPQE), offering practical strategies for exam preparation.
• Mr. Blessen Varghese, HR Manager at Wellcare Pharmacy, delivered an informative talk on the Pharmacist Licensing Process in Qatar.
• Ms. Shana Abdurahiman, Corporate HR at Care n Cure Group, spoke on “Job Prescription: Formula to a Successful Application,” guiding participants on successful career applications.
In addition to the knowledge-sharing sessions, the event also featured a World Pharmacists Day cake cutting, marking a moment of celebration and unity among pharmacists. The program concluded with an engaging professional networking session, providing attendees with opportunities to connect and collaborate.
The evening drew to a close with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. K. Vyas, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, speakers, and participants.
The program not only empowered aspiring and practicing pharmacists with the right guidance but also strengthened the spirit of community and professional collaboration within the pharmacy field in Qatar.
