We work online with adults & young people and their families at home or school worldwide. At Need2Talk2Someone/KidsNeed2Talk2, we work with children aged 7 years plus, individuals and families to support them as they transition through life 'Wherever They Are'* whether that is counselling 'one to one, face to face or online via an encrypted video platform.

'As the founder of Need2Talk2Someone and KidsNeed2Talk2, I am privileged to have worked with Children & families since 1989. As an ex-pat for almost a decade, I understand the stresses and strains of transitions, resettling, 'Third Culture -Kids, the importance of relationships, the agonising decisions such as renewing/ending contracts, missing loved ones in your 'home' /not home countries, Academic stress, University applications and much more ...'

As well as online practitioners, we are parent training facilitators, delivering parent and Teacher workshops such as Parenting /Teaching With 'Love & Logic', Merriden Family Trained and hold an online certified status certificate. In addition, we support Professional Development (CPD) events in schools colleges /universities and produce workshops for delivery online by invitation or at your establishment or Country (T&Cs)-(Note: Apply early to avoid disappointment requests and pre-book dates /International schedule available). Email: ask@need2talk2someone.com

Through this page, we aim to highlight current issues impacting on children and families and to share for free, current psychological guided self-help. To give you some insight and appreciation of the therapeutic relationships encountered, we may share visual examples of our work and on-location CPD pictures. Note, that pictures are taken at the end of a session so as not to interrupt the ‘flow’ of the session. To protect confidentiality client faces are NEVER shown. Permission has been sought from workshop participants beforehand and understand that the images will be shared on social media. Welcome to the sister page to 'Need2Talk2Someone Counselling Services'.

This page is specifically aimed at promoting the 'children & families' side of the Counselling Service.

As founder of KidsNeed2Talk2, I am privileged to have worked with Children & families in various roles since the late 80’s. I have been a Nursery Nurse, a full-time Nanny, a Senior Family Support worker in Child Protection Services, a Counselor in Schools and Primary Care Mental Health, I continue to work with Adopt Abroad as a Home Study Assessor and co-founded the charity ‘Maypole Women’ supporting Women and children after Separation and Divorce.

I became a counsellor because I believed that few people actually listened to children and young people. I experienced the gap in provision myself as a young person and later became determined to fill it. I want young people to know that there is someone out there ‘who gets it’ and can listen and support them through the tough times, I want to prove that ‘it is better out than in’! You don’t have to store up all of those emotions.
