KIMS Qatar Medical Centre (KQMC), was inaugurated by H. E. Mrs Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, Ambassador of the Republic of India and the Guest of Honor for the occasion will be H. E. Dr. Faleh Mohd. Hussain Ali, Acting Assistant Minister of Policy Affairs, Ministry of Health, State of Qatar at 7PM on 9th Jun 2009.
KIMS Qatar a modern high quality medical centre formed in association with Coastal Healthcare Management, Qatar and is the third project of the KIMS Group being commissioned in the Middle East.
KIMS Qatar has a pool of highly experienced multicultural team of doctors, nurses, paramedics and administration staff. The staff at KIMS Qatar has been trained to deliver healthcare with ‘Care and Compassion’, which is consistent with the Group’s overall objective.
KIMS Qatar presently provides services in the areas of Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Dental Surgery, ENT, Dermatology, Physiotherapy and Audiology. The centre also has an attached retail pharmacy, the Al Aynayn Pharmacy which stocks a wide range of medicines and general items.
From time to time, speciality clinics like Well Women Clinic, Diabetes Clinic, Obesity Clinics are organized.
At a later stage, it is planned to have visiting consultants from KIMS, India to offer training and special consultations in the advanced fields of Neurology, Cardiology and Nephrology. The Orthodontics depertments is going to start in a month’s time as the first insitiative in this regard.
KIMS Qatar, also facilitates referral to KIMS Trivandrum for advanced treatment and medical tourism. The KIMS Group is also in talks for establishing a 50 beds multispecialty hospital in Doha in line with their expansion plans in the Middle East.
