Gulf Good Vibes, a community initiative in Qatar comprising professionals from various fields such as psychology, wellness, finance, education, and mental health, is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and support within the African community. ✨️✨️Eid Mubarak✨️✨️

✨️Thinking of all who are not at. peace during this time ✨️

A memory popped up today of us celebrating Eid al-Fitr 15 June 2018 hosted by a beautiful Syrian family in temporary housing outside Izmir, Turkiye 🇹🇷 supported personally by Kellie Scott and David Haward.
(Wearing our
T-shirts)

I had met Kellie online, we and many others connected in various ways with the 2015 refugee crisis across Europe.

I finally met Kellie Scott in person in June 2016 at a paper event at the Barbican London, during Ramadan. I bumped into so many people I had met in the jungle calais refugee camp, online-volunteers, community leaders and those who had made it across from the camp with refugee status. 🥰

My next trip to Turkiye the Eid al Adha 2016. I visited Qatar Red Crescent in Gazientep and presented art therapy to the Ngos across Syria and W.H.O. It was a sombre day as we awaited news about Idlib, if they were to bomb and creating strategy of where to move people, much like what we witness with Gaza.

I also spent many days with Lele and Peter who created so much fun with their project on play

This photo holds many connected memories of strength and resilience.

Honestly, THE BEST KIBBEH I'VE EVER TASTED! shukran. ❤️

SOUND ON! 🔊 and relax...😊

Repost .in.ink

Vibrations produced by a cat's 🐈 purr have demonstrated the ability to decrease blood pressure, alleviate stress, and even aid in the process of healing. ✅⚕

So- Art🎨 +🐈 = 🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏼‍♂️

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

Fun Geeky Facts 🤓

Every felid ( 🐈 😻 family) in the study generated strong frequencies between 25 and 150 Hz. Purr frequencies correspond to vibrational/electrical frequencies used in treatment for bone growth/fractures, pain, edema, muscle growth/strain, joint flexibility, dyspnea, and wounds.

Domestic cats, servals, ocelots, and pumas produce fundamental, dominant, or strong frequencies at exactly 25 Hz and 50 Hz, the two low frequencies that best promote bone growth/fracture healing [Chen et al., Zhong. Wai Ke Za Zhi. 32, 217–219 (1994)].

These four species have a strong harmonic exactly at, or within 2 Hz of 100 Hz, a frequency used therapeutically for pain, edema, wounds, and dyspnea. An internal healing mechanism would be advantageous, increasing recovery time and keeping muscles and bone strong when sedentary.
