DOC Medical Center is honored to welcome Professor Dr. Sirajeddin Belkhair,
Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon & Director of the Neuroscience Department.

North American–trained, fellowship-trained at the University of Toronto, and holding a Master’s from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Belkhair brings decades of global expertise in advanced brain & spine surgery.

A true pioneer, he performed Qatar’s first awake brain surgery (2020) and introduced regional firsts such as epilepsy surgery with intraoperative EEG and the first augmented reality spine surgery in the Middle East.

With 40+ scientific publications and groundbreaking contributions, Dr. Belkhair is set to bring world-class neurosurgical care to DOC Medical Center and the community of Qatar.

استشاري أول جراحة المخ والأعصاب ومدير قسم علوم الأعصاب.

تدرّب في أمريكا الشمالية، وأكمل زمالته في جامعة تورنتو، وحصل على درجة الماجستير من جامعة كولومبيا البريطانية، ليقدّم عقودًا من الخبرة العالمية في جراحات الدماغ والعمود الفقري المتقدمة.

ويُعد الدكتور بلخير رائدًا في مجاله؛ إذ أجرى اول جراحه دماغيه ناجحه لازاله ورم دماغي في وضع اليقضه في قطر عام 2020، كما أدخل إنجازات طبية غير مسبوقة على مستوى المنطقة، منها:
