Here I am in Ustrasana or Camel pose.

With my knees and feet hip-width apart, I align my knees directly under my hips, and my feet are pointing straight back behind me.

I press my hands firmly into my lower back, fingertips pointing down. With a deep inhalation, I engage my core muscles and slowly start to lean back, allowing my chest to open and my heart to lift toward the sky.

As I continue to lean back, I reach one hand at a time towards my heels, maintaining the integrity of my spine throughout the movement.

My neck stays long and relaxed, and my gaze gently lifts upward.

I take another deep breath in, feeling the stretch in my thighs, hip flexors, and chest. In this graceful backbend, I hold the posture for a few breaths, embracing the sensation of openness and expansion in my front body.

I focus on maintaining balance and steadiness, feeling the energy flow through my body.

I practice practically every day as part of my routine.

In this photo, I was warming my ankle by bringing my right knee up close and carefully cradling it against my chest.

I started with gentle ankle circles, a purposeful movement designed to awaken and warm up my ankle joint – a crucial first step on the path to nurturing my hamstrings.

I could feel the energy spreading with each circle, gently preparing my body for the longer lengths ahead.

Starting with one direction, then gracefully transitioning to the other, it was a mindful prelude to the more intricate flows to come. 🌀✨

Ardha Baddha Padmasana or half-bound lotus standing forward bend. It has many benefits:

🧘‍♂️Make your legs flexible.
🧘‍♂️It stretches the joints of shoulders, wrists, back, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles and makes them more flexible.
🧘‍♂️Beneficial in the shoulders and back pain.
🧘‍♂️It improves the posture of the spine.
🧘‍♂️It increases the range of shoulder movements.

It'd be crazy not to give this adventure a try. And finally, I took the plunge and had my first session.

Aerial yoga is the most relaxing way to get your mind and body out of their comfort zone while being balanced on a gorgeous bunch of silk and h**p fabric.

Aerial yoga includes basic handstands, poses and buildups, floor work, and a final relaxation pose to help flush out your muscles with your breath and stretch from your heart to the tips of your toes.
