ARE YOU FEELING ANXIOUS?
When there is fear and uncertainty, anxiety comes. You can’t help but worry about the future. There are many “what ifs” and worst cases scenarios in our imaginations.
In times like this, the tendency is to panic.
We need to find peace, order and contol in our lives, so we can counter chaos. We can do the following:
✔️Prepare well. Think of a good action plan. What heightens anxiety is when we are idle and worried. If you are ready, the fear will dissipate.
✔️Secure. Do everything necessary to avoid further threats and to have sufficient supply. Think not only of yourself but your neighbors too. The best way to secure yourself is to have a secured society. Don’t hoard.
✔️Pray. Instead of worrying, offer prayers. It is more helpful. It can bring you the calm that you need. Remember when Jesus calmed the storm while the Apostles were panicking? (Mt. 8:23-27). He too can calm your anxious heart.
The chaos shall pass. Go through it with faith and action.
