Yes, itโs true,
My greatest happiness was doing everything
to alleviate or cure the sorrow of the world.
How it gave me joy to see a
poor child,
once dirty and hungry,
now fed and clean.
I imagined, too, that I had a
magic wand,
that could transform everything:
Misery and ugliness to abundance and beauty;
dryness and dirt, to flowers and climbing plants;
violence and pollution, to harmony, purity.
