Well, sometimes healing behind closed doors can look just like this, like an easy and natural smile! 😁✨

I blamed myself for not taking a genuine smile before picture, wasn’t really focusing on the instagram posts. Especially because this was one of those cases in which time was not our friend. 🙆🏼‍♀️

With just a few days at our disposal, around major holidays and with planes to catch, we were all in on treating more 💪🏻✨, documenting less (yes,yes, big no-no🫣).

But the beauty is that I look at the after pictures and I can see it, I can see the smile in the eyes (yes, you should be jealous because you are missing it)! 💁🏼‍♀️

Sometimes I wonder if what we do is worth the struggle and the answer lies in the eyes, the smile and the hand not covering it. 😏🤩🥰😍

And although we didn’t have time to fully see it healed this time, I know that the next holiday season will bring back a wide smile for a recall visit. ☺️

It IS worth everything, anything and more! 🫶🏻❤️

Minimally invasive technique through Icon infiltration and composite correction. Just additive, no drilling involved.

The patient had an accident when she still had the baby tooth. The trauma affected the permanent incisor. While it’s not the best solution, is the one that involved no tooth structure sacrifice, a solution to postpone a veneer.

Pink dentistry 😜

This is the result of having a provisional ready before the extractions and immediate placement of said provisional bridge. This way, we can preserve the shape of the gingival margin as close to the natural one as possible.

Of course, it’s possible to build an emergence profile after healing, but why not just keep the one that already exists?

Because white is not all that matters in dentistry, pink is just as important!

I am back with some direct restorations with composite - additive bonding to regain the lost hard tissue due to abrasion.

Regaining both function and aesthetics, with the added touch of prophylaxis of further damage and tooth loss!
