Ever wondered what it’s really like to work in Internal Medicine in the U.S.? 🇺🇸
The American healthcare system is known for being one of the most complex in the world and it’s quite different from what we’re used to here in Europe! 🌍

Join us for our next 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 session, where we’ll be joined by 𝐝𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂â𝐥𝐦â𝐜, who’ll share her journey from finishing medical school to becoming an internal medicine physician in the U.S. 🩺

🩺 During the talk, Dr. Câlmâc will open up about what it really takes to practice medicine in the U.S.- the impediments, the rewarding moments, and how she balances long hospital shifts with life outside of work.

🏥 We’ll also dive into how the American medical system compares with the European one: from residency training and hospital culture to how doctors and patients connect day to day.

Have you wondered what it's like to practice medicine in another country? Join 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝, a special online conference featuring 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐯𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐢 as our guest speaker.

The event will take place on:
🗓️ Thursday, November 6th, at 20:00, on Google Meet.

🇩🇪 During this session, Dr. Dashti will share her personal and professional journey from finishing medical school to building a career as a doctor in Germany.

🩺 The discussion will focus on the steps and challenges young doctors face when planning to work abroad. We will also explore the everyday life of a physician: the ups and downs of the profession, the realities of hospital work, and the balance between personal and professional life.

🏨 Additionally, we will talk about the differences in hospital facilities and work conditions between Romania and Germany.
