Eating for balanced hormones

When hormones function within normal limits, they act as super intelligent messages throughout our bodies, so our lifestyle should support their balance. Let me share with you some pointers to help balance 5 of our important hormones, using healthy foods. Cortisol is the main hormone of reaction to stress, secreted by the adrenal glands. When it reaches a higher level, it also causes blood pressure and glucose to be increased, preparing the body for the possibility of "a fight or run." But when the high level of cortisol becomes chronic, this results in an accentuated state of restlessness in the body, depression, accelerated aging, weight gain, blood glucose problems and the occurrence of metabolic syndrome. The thing that is specific to proteins is the presence of nitrogen in the amino acids.
