Săptămâna aceasta, Misiunea Economică și Comercială a Statului Israel în România a participat la evenimentul Christmas Innovation Gala care a reunit stakeholderi relevanți din industria de Smart City într-o atmosferă degajată de sărbători.
Evenimentul a fost sub format de panel unde speakerii și-au prezentat perspectivele asupra anului 2023 și ce estimări au făcut pentru anul ce urmează respectiv inovațiile și schimbările ce pot fi aduse de un Oraș Inteligent.

Leaders Meeting a servit drept platformă de discuție și schimb de idei între lideri de opinie, experți și profesioniști implicați în proiecte Smart City.

The Economic & Trade Mission of Israel to Romania has participated today at the World Bank Group event centered around the Country Private Sector Diagnostic of Romania.
Over the past two decades, Romania has made significant progress in economic performance, with EU integration playing a key role in accelerating the convergence of income towards the bloc's average. From 2000 to 2022, Romania experienced remarkable growth, as its income per capita in PPP (2017 international US$) increased from 26.4 percent to 76.7 percent of the EU average.
The Event was aimed at bringing forth the newest themes of discussion regarding the Economic Status of Romania in comparison to other EU State Members and it provided a platform for debates and valuable networking.

On the 12th of October, the Embassy of Israel in Bucharest together with its partners (Federația Comunităților Evreiești din România - pagina oficială, Complexul Educational Laude-Reut, Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce / Camera de Comert Romania-Israel, בית חב"ד בוקרשט- Chabad House Bucharest) held a rally in which both Romanians and Israelis came together to show support for Israel and to condemn the barbaric and brutal attack of the terrorist organization Hamas on the civilians in Israel in which more than 1,300 people were murdered.
Many countries have shown their support for Israel in its fight against terrorism, and Romania is one of those countries that has reaffirmed the strong bond between our nations.
We were very grateful to have with us public personalities, business leaders, academics, dignitaries, diplomats and representatives of the Jewish community that came to show their solidarity with Israel.
We express our deep appreciation to H.E. Reuven Azar, Ambassador of Israel to Romania, Rami Teplitskiy Deputy Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Alexandru Rafila– Minister of Health in Romania, H.E. Dr. Peer Gebauer – Ambassador of Germany to Romania, H.E. Astăzi a fost adoptată Declarația Parlamentului României privind atacurile teroriste îndreptate împotriva Statului Israel și a populației civile, precum și reiterarea sprijinului față de dreptul Statului Israel de a se apăra. Toți liderii partidelor prezente în Parlament au ținut discursuri în sprijinul Israelului.
Mulțumim din inimă poporului român pentru solidaritatea arătată Israelului. Aceasta înseamnă foarte mult pentru noi în aceste zile foarte dificile.

Misiunea Economică și Comercială a Israelului în România a participat la conferința How to Web 2023.
La How to Web, am fost martori ai pasiunii și creativității cu care tinerii antreprenori au prezentat soluții inovatoare și tehnologii de ultimă oră. Am avut ocazia să interacționăm cu companii start-up expozante și să înțelegem modul în care își propun să revoluționeze diferite domenii și să susțină dezvoltarea lor.
Evenimentul a fost o oportunitate deosebită de networking și învățare, iar colaborările și inovațiile generate aici vor contribui semnificativ la creșterea ecosistemului de start-up-uri din România și la consolidarea relațiilor dintre țările participante în cadrul evenimentului.

Astăzi, Șefa Misiunii Economice a Israelului în România, Avigail Shtamler Paz, a avut privilegiul de a participa în calitate de Keynote Speaker la evenimentul Energynomics , More Renewables for Romania.
Prezentarea a început prin menționarea celor 55 de birouri pe care Administrația Comerțului Exterior (Foreign Trade Administration - Ministry of Economy & Industry) a Statului Israel le are pe teritoriile țărilor partenere și a poveștilor de succes la care Misiunile Economice au contribuit.
Câteva dintre principalele aspecte ce au fost prezentate despre ecosistemul de energie din Israel sunt:
- Faptul că acum 75 de ani, Israel era principal exportator de citrice iar acum este principal exportator de tehnologie.
- Lipsa de surse hidroelectrice de energie din Israel.
- Companiile Israeliene produc energie din resurse de gaz natural.
- Inovația tehnologică și cm ea a influențat ecosistemul de energie din Israel.
Totodată, au fost prezentate 4 companii inovatoare din domeniul energiei: H2Pro, GenCell Energy, QD-SOL LTD., Hydrox ale căror tehnologii pot fi utilizate pe teritoriul României.
Israelul are peste 230 de companii in industria tehnologiei energetice din care 15 sunt la un nivel de maturitate considerabil și una dintre ele este companie unicorn! Acesta înră unul dintre aspectele care au fost menționate de doamna Avigail Shtamler - Paz pe durata discursului.
Un alt punct cheie ce a fost prezentat a fost constituit de cele 2 evenimente internaționale pe tematica energiei care sunt în focusul Misiunii Economice și anume conferința pe energie regenerabilă Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy Initiative și COP28 UAE care vor avea loc în luna Decembrie a acestui an.

🎉 Ne bucurăm să anunțăm concluzia triumfătoare a celei de-a 5-a ediții a evenimentului HLS & Cyber Romania 2023. Acest eveniment a adunat peste 180 de reprezentanți din companii private și instituții publice, făcându-l un succes răsunător! 🎉

The Economic & Trade Mission of Israel to Romania is responsible mainly for enhancing the bilateral trade relations between the two countries by promoting trade and exports, attracting and encouraging foreign investments and creating strategic cooperation with local companies.
In 2019 we set a historical world record reaching the highest number of success stories between Israeli and local partners (per economic mission). We are proud to offer our services and strengthening the commercial and economic ties between Israel and Romania.
Starting August 2018, the mission is led by Ms. Bareket Knafo, The Economic Counselor.
Mrs. Knafo has an extensive international economic experience in various geographical areas: as the manager of the Latin America Desk, a special project manager in America (both North and South) and the Middle East and as the manager of the economic and trade mission in Canada.
Prior to her work at the Foreign Trade Administration, Mrs. Knafo clerked for the Israeli Supreme Court, served as a commercial litigator at leading Tel Aviv law firms and graduated from the Civil Service Cadet Program at the Israeli Prime Minister Office, aimed at training and building an elite management cadre, that will catalyze tangible changes in Israel’s civil service.
Mrs. Knafo holds a Master in Law from Harvard Law School (as a Shapiro Scholar), another Master in Public Policy from the Hebrew University and an L.L.B from Tel Aviv University (as a part of Tel Aviv University Special Program for Outstanding Students, an invitation-only honors program, where she combined expanded coursework at the faculties of Medicine, Music and Foreign Languages).
