We’re proud to share that TELUS Digital Romania has received a Bronze award in the Employee Support category at the Romanian Sustainability & CSR Awards Gala for the initiative TELUS Days of Giving 2025: Building Hope for People and Nature.

This recognition reflects the incredible dedication of over 350 volunteers from our Romania team, who came together to create real impact. From building homes for vulnerable people alongside Habitat for Humanity Romania supporting biodiversity through artificial bird nests installed with the Societatea Ornitologica Romana.

Real change happens when local ideas meet the right support.

In 2025, local communities across Bulgaria and Romania experienced real change, thanks to the support of the TELUS Digital Community Board Foundations and the NGOs we partnered with.

Together, we funded 23 projects, reaching more than 150,000 people and investing USD 200,000 in local communities. This included 7 education projects supporting 5,700 people, 12 health projects improving the well-being of over 8,000, and 4 environmental projects benefiting 11,800.

From schools and workshops to renewable energy and biodiversity initiatives, TELUS Digital is proud to support civil organisations creating lasting impact in communities.

The Bulgaria and Romania Community Boards are part of TELUS’s broader ecosystem of 21 Community Boards - operated through the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation® in Canada and TELUS Digital internationally. Together, they direct funding toward grassroots initiatives across Canada, the UK, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, the Philippines, Bulgaria, and Romania that address the needs of their communities.

Rooting for the future, one tree at a time 🌱💚

On International Forests Day, our incredible team came together at Tineretului Park in Bucharest to be part of something bigger than ourselves. Alongside the amazing team at the Padurea Copiilor and other volunteers, we planted 2,600 saplings in just one day, each one a small but powerful step toward a greener, more sustainable future.

What made this day truly special wasn’t just the number of trees planted, but the energy, connection, and shared purpose behind every action. From working side by side in the fresh air to ending the day with a simple picnic, it was a beautiful reminder that meaningful change starts with people coming together.

We try to do our part - looking after the environment and supporting the communities around us in ways that actually matter.

💚 Thank you to everyone who showed up with heart, dedication, and muddy hands. Because when we root our actions with purpose, they grow into something truly impactful.
