Alina shared with us her yoga journey:
“Yoga came into my life a few years ago. Although I didn’t see myself as a flexible person, I soon realized that yoga isn’t about perfection from the start. It’s a journey where you gradually learn to calm your mind and connect with your body.

As a future yoga instructor, I hope to share the tools that guided me toward balance and helped me feel at home in my own skin.”

Geta Cristea is going to be guiding us for the yoga classes and is beautifully inviting us to meditate on our relationship with yoga.

“In my childhood I wasn’t a sports person, but later I started running out of a desire to test my physical and mental limits. Each run challenged me, but also charged me with a special energy – one that comes from connecting with others, with nature and with myself.
Along this path, I discovered yoga. At first it was just a form of stretching, but I soon understood that yoga is so much more – it is the space where the body calms down and the mind finds silence. The practice taught me to really breathe, to be present and to bring calm to the hustle around me.
For me now, yoga means balance and introspection. Together with running, the two create a beautiful balance between movement and stillness, between the outside and the inside.
I invite you to discover what yoga can do for you – it might be more than you think. A space of peace, clarity and reconnection with yourself.”

“Hello everyone! My name is Omkara, and I’m honoured to share a few words about our journey.
Back in 2005, I felt inspired to start the Life Force Association here in Romania, driven by a simple yet powerful desire: to bring more joy, harmony, healing, and connection into people’s lives—regardless of who they are—children with special needs, the elderly, or anyone longing for warmth and meaning.
A few years later, my dear friend Reni joined us. She is incredibly talented in music and brings heart and dedication to everything we do.
From the beginning, music has been at the core of our work. We’ve seen time and again how music can reach places words cannot — it comforts, uplifts, and awakens something deep inside. Whether we’re in a senior home, a children’s center, or sharing with the public, music opens the door to connection — heart to heart.
We also practice and share mantra meditation with music. It’s not only beautiful — it’s practical. It has transformed our own lives by bringing clarity, emotional balance, and a sense of harmony that is so needed in today’s world. It helps us grow from within — to become kinder, more grounded, and more present.
What truly keeps us going is the joy we feel when we sing and play together. That same joy is what we long to share with others. Music brings people together — it’s part of every story, every heart. For us, it’s not just an activity; it’s a way of life, a way to give, and a way to grow.

“My journey with yoga began almost three years ago during an Erasmus program. It was love at first practice—something deep inside me knew I had to follow this path and explore both the asanas and the philosophy behind them. When I returned home, I started searching for yoga teachers in Cluj and joined my first class with Manish. It was challenging, but after the class, my body felt so light and strong that I could hardly believe it! Since then, I’ve never stopped loving yoga. Even during tough times when it was hard to stay consistent, I always found my way back to the mat. Recently, I’ve started a new journey—one where I continue to learn every day and share my passion for yoga with those around me.”

Let’s meet Manish Bhatia – Founder, Indian School of Yoga Therapy

“Eight years ago, I arrived in Cluj with a simple goal: to pursue my studies. To support myself and pay for university, I began teaching yoga classes — just a way to earn a little extra pocket money. What started as a necessity soon became a passion and a lifelong path.

In 2020, during one of the most uncertain times as businesses around the world were shutting down due to the pandemic, I took a leap of faith. Together with a small, dedicated team, we opened the Indian School of Yoga Therapy — a studio built on courage, conviction, and the healing power of yoga.

Rooted deeply in the philosophy of Karma Yoga, my approach emphasizes action with intention and service without attachment. I specialize in yoga therapy, focusing on practices designed to prevent and alleviate joint pain, and to promote holistic wellbeing at both the body and mind level.

My mission is simple: to help people reconnect with their bodies, find balance, and discover that healing is possible — no matter where you begin.”
