Meet Tanishq: "He is eleven years old now and enjoys cooking. Tanishq was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (a previous diagnosis that as of 2013 is considered autism spectrum disorder, according to the DSM-5) at the age of two. He has been a part of the kitchen chores since the age of 5. He enjoys watching cooking shows on and expresses his wish to replicate them in his own vocabulary. We help him do that. He prepares a variety of Indian and global cuisine. During the pandemic, we thought of sharing his skills and opened an account with the name Wonderfud. It is less than a year and there are more than 75 videos uploaded. The videos might not be professional but they are genuine and full of passion. Tanishq has epilepsy, sensory and behavioral issues, but his love for cooking balances all his struggles. We hope to inspire many of Tanishq's differently-abled friends through his culinary skills." - Tanishq's Mother, Veena
