The analyses with probably blinded reports or neuropsychological outcomes provided no evidence of meaningful benefits of neurofeedback as a treatment for ADHD; however, small but statistically significant positive effects were observed when the analyses were limited to RCTs using well-established standard neurofeedback protocols and specifically targeted processing speed as an outcome measure.
This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the efficacy of neurofeedback in reducing symptoms and improving neuropsychological outcomes in individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
