Prin Proiectul Innovation Norway, Originis a integrat cu succes mai multe tehnologii avansate în platformele software OncoAbstrakt și MediFlux:
- Algoritmi de învățare automată: noi algoritmi de machine learning ce îmbunătățesc structurarea și analiza datelor.
- Soluții OCR: instrumente de recunoaștere optică a caracterelor (OCR) pentru a extrage date din documente medicale tipărite, simplificând introducerea și analiza datelor.
- NLP pentru limba română: soluții de procesare a limbajului natural (NLP) special concepute pentru texte medicale românești, ce permit extragerea automată a variabilelor de interes dintr-o gamă largă de documente medicale.
- Integrarea tehnologiei GPT în managementul datelor medicale

Oncochain a obținut un grant de 195.300 de euro de la EEA and Norway Grants by Innovation Norway in Romania.

Soluţia software dezvoltată, numită OncoAbstrakt, realizează structurarea automată a datelor medicale și permite medicilor și spitalelor să acceseze elemente cheie din dosarele electronice ale pacienților, facilitând în principal analiza, dar și practica medicală.

Oncochain a demarat implementarea proiectului „Oncochain - Innovative data management solution enhancing the future personalized cancer care“ în februrarie 2023, fiind un proiect co-finanțat în cadrul programului „SME Growth Romania - Support for Startups”, încheiat cu fondul Innovation Norway în calitate de operator al programului.

Obiectivul general al investiției în acest proiect este de a accelera dezvoltarea soluției software prin integrarea unor tehnologii de ultimă generație:
-dezvoltarea platformei de date din practica clinică curentă (real-world data) de oncologie cu noi algoritmi de machine learning (ML);
-dezvoltarea de soluții software de recunoaștere optică a caracterelor (OCR) pentru extragerea datelor din documente medicale tipărite;
-dezvoltarea de soluții software de procesare a limbajului natural (NLP) dedicate limbii române.

De asemenea, Oncochain a început și integrarea celei mai noi tehnologii de inteligență artificială, modelul GPT, pentru managementul documentelor și datelor medicale în spitale și clinici.
