First we did ortho treatment to put all teeth in their place. You have to do it slowly so that bone can develop. Than we place an implant. There was a lot of bone. Then some veneers ==> team workclinic

Can you spot the difference?
This patient arrived in our clinic after going through an orthodontic treatment. Her doctor decided its a good idea to close spaces for 2 teeth. This is what happened: her whole smile shifted to the right, making her look like a ciclop with a tooth in the middle of the face instead of the middle line. It takes 1 year to produce this and 2 years to correct it. Is this fair for the patient? NO!
Closing spaces its not always a good idea and symmetry is one of the most important features in esthetics.

We just finished this case recently: her previous doctor decided to extract a premolar on one single side and this produced sever asymmetry. You can see on her initial situation that her middline was moved to the left.
If the patient is symmetric in the beginning, removing only one tooth will produce asymmetry!!!!! You can even see on the shape of her arch: the side with more terth is bigger, OBVIOUSLY!!!

In order to correct this, i extracted one premolar on the other side and used mini implant as an anchorage. The patient was extremely cool and very patient 🤓
