Proud Moment: Dr. Bianca Tihăuan Selected for Prestigious SIDP PK/PD Scholarship!

Our colleague, Dr. Bianca Tihăuan was selected as one of only 12 scholars (from ~100 applicants) to attend the inaugural SIDP PK/PD Scholarship, hosted by the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists with ESCMID in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
This two-day, hands-on workshop focused on advanced PK/PD principles and antimicrobial dosing strategies, equipping participants with practical tools for optimizing therapy and advancing stewardship.
We’re proud of Dr. Tihăuan for representing our team and engaging with international leaders in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy!

🌿 Summer School: Smart Solutions for Regenerative Medicine
📅 June 10–11, 2025 | 👥 ~50 participants
Organized by the eBio-team under the eBio-hub Project, this two-day event brought together innovation, learning, and hands-on experience in regenerative medicine.
🧠 Day 1 featured a series of insightful plenary sessions exploring key topics in neuroscience and regenerative technologies.
🧪 Day 2 offered practical training through an interactive cell culture and wound healing workshop, giving participants valuable hands-on experience.

The 4th International Conference on Bioengineering & Polymer Science was held from June 2 to June 5, 2025, in Brasov, Romania. Organized by APMG and endorsed by eBio-hub, the conference gathered over 100 participants from around the world to exchange innovative research and promote scientific collaboration in the fields of bioengineering and polymer science.

On May 23, the Academy of Scientists hosted the 2025 Spring Scientific Conference titled "Science and Cultural Diplomacy – Factors of International Cooperation." As part of the 'Engineering Sciences' section held at Politehnica Bucharest, eBio-hub PostDoc researcher Irina Petre presented work related to her 2024 AOSR-funded project, which focuses on developing a thyroid cancer data registry.

The eBio-hub team recently visited the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS), a joint research unit of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Paris-Saclay in Orsay, France. During the visit, the team met with Dr. Guillaume Tresset, Laboratory Director and member of the eBio-hub Scientific Advisory Board, and his team. This productive exchange strengthened the ongoing collaboration and laid the groundwork for future joint publications and new scientific initiatives.
