𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭-𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥
Viața de părinte este plină de bucurii, dar și de provocări neașteptate. Pe lângă rolurile zilnice, părinții se confruntă adesea cu lipsa timpului și a resurselor, ceea ce poate fi copleșitor.
Pentru mulți, propriile nevoi sunt adesea lăsate pe ultimul loc în lista de priorități. Din păcate, acest lucru poate duce la o stare de intensă oboseală și stres, cunoscută sub numele de 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥, cu simptome ca:
𝟏. 𝐄𝐩𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭̦𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚̆ 𝐬̦𝐢 𝐟𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐜𝐚̆, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐢̂𝐧:
➤ Comportamente/reacții nepotrivite față de copii
➤ Incapacitatea de a răspunde corespunzător nevoilor copiilor
➤ Fluctuații emoționale majore
𝟐. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭̦𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭̦𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚̆ 𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐢𝐢 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐢, 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐢 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚̆:
➤ diminuarea interacțiunilor părinte-copil chiar în condițiile în care nevoile primare ale copiilor sunt în continuare satisfăcute
➤ scăderea sau dispariția empatiei, grijii, în paralel cu nevoia de conservare a energiei proprii.
𝟑. 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐭̦𝐢𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭̦𝐚̆ 𝐢̂𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐥 𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐚̆𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞:
➤ Sentimentul că rolul parental nu este îndeplinit corespunzător
➤ Impresia că eforturile depuse nu au relevanță sau impact.
Dacă simțiți că descrierea de mai sus vi se potrivește, nu ezitați să căutați sprijin sau să consultați un specialist. Nu uitați: nu sunteți singuri!
You can love your kids to the moon and still BURNOUT as a parent. We weren't meant to carry so much. We need more support and less pressure.
A spring 2022 study by Ohio State University found 66%🔥 of working parents met the criteria for parental burnout. Groups that were most likely to experience burnout included:
- mothers
- parents of multiple children
- parents of children with
- parents who struggle with
- parents concerned that their kids had undiagnosed mental - - health disorders.
Our well-being is foundational for ourselves AND for raising resilient, thriving kids. As a parent, it's easy to channel all your energy into caring for your children. No matter what, we need to stay actively aware of how we're holding up and take whatever tiny steps we can to build resilience.

Signs You Are Struggling with Burnout include:
🌻 you feel physically and emotionally exhausted
- easily irritated
- pain, physical symptoms
🌻you feel emotionally detached from your kids
- loss of empathy, care, and compassion as you try to protect your energy
🌻 you feel ineffective as a parent
- as if nothing you do makes a difference
- the harder you try, the more worn out and reactive you get
🌻 not the parent you want to be
- don't recognize yourself anymore
Burnout can have adverse consequences for both parents and kids. The study found an association between burnout and depression, anxiety, alcohol consumption, and aggressive parenting tactics, including insulting, criticizing or physically hurting children. What's more, a parent's burnout can make it likelier that children will get distracted more easily, argue with their peers or feel sad or unhappy.
