On Thursday 4th December, the British Business Club celebrated its annual Christmas party, together with our Canadian friends at the MaMaison Suites Spa hotel in central Moscow. Almost 200 people attended, and as you can see from the photos below, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Fine food, an open bar and lively entertainment kindly provided by Tony Watkins added to a tremendous evening, which also helped to raise money for our nominated charity, The Taganka Children’s Fund.

From us here at the BBC, wishing you all a Merry Christmas and looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in 2026 (preparations are underway for a calendar of events) !!

Expect a fun-filled evening, complete with an extensive buffet of sumptuous dishes, accompanied by free-flow drinks from the bar.

Given that curry is (almost) the British national dish, last night we held the British Business Club November event in Dhaba, surely Moscow’s finest Indian restaurant. Let’s face it, Britain’s links with India go back hundreds of years, so it was a perfect combination.

A fantastic, multicultural evening - and the beer was pretty good too !!

Britain’s 🇬🇧 connections with India 🇮🇳 go back hundreds of years, with one of the best & most famous imports to the UK, being the food.

There are an estimated 10,000+ Indian restaurants in the UK, so it’s safe to say that curry is as popular amongst Brits as fish & chips, or the traditional Sunday roast.

In order to celebrate this fact, we have teamed up with one of Moscow’s leading Indian restaurants, Dhaba to lay on a feast for the BBC membership.

For the price of 2,700 (payable to the venue upon arrival), you can expect the following traditional Indian dishes with a sit down format:
