Welcome to Scandinavia on December 7th for an introduction to the region, the drink, a taste of France. Florence presents herself and our next SWEA Professionals below:

I can present myself as a mum of three kids, as a wife to a diplomat or as a French teacher... But what defines me better is where I'm from, my roots which I hope my children will inherit even if we travel around the world.

I was born in the city of Cognac and I spent my childhood between cows and vines in a small village not far away. I've listened to my father and his friends when they were talking about cognac so many winter evenings. I've seen them tasting different kinds of cognac after Sunday's lunch. And I've been so many time with them to visit vineyards.

All those years, I've learned about cognac's history and production, I've learned to discover and appreciate a good cognac. And now, when I'm far away from my hometown, I would like to share my experience with you and give you the opportunity to taste one of the best cognacs: cognac Frapin.

Milioutinski pereulok is the second street on your left on Mayasnitskaya Ulitsa. Next to the building number 10 is a gate, you enter and go in the courtyard, the entrance of Tsar voyage is at your right in the back. You ring the bell and enter at the sound. The elevator goes to the 3th floor only, then you have to take some stairs.

The event is free for IWC members, but please remember to bring your badge! There is a guest fee of 400 roubles.

Ladies! High time to sign up for Wednesdays event about organic farming!

Organic food in Russia. How is it possible?
The topic of the evening will be about the differences between organic and conventional food, and how the situation is in Russia today.

Helena Drewes from Organic Russia have worked within this field for many years and have published the first book about this topic in Russia ”To be or not to be”. It is an update of he book about the same topic in Danish published in 2003 ”Økologi for fremtiden”.

There will be a tasting of cake made of local Russian product.

Helena is originally a teacher of in nutrition and has a degree in Human ecology. She has worked with organic food and food quality since 1994, and visited Russia the first time in 1995. In the current debate the concept of "Millennials" appear more and more often, their knowledge, behavior and development is discussed.
But who are they and what distinguishes them for other generations? And why do we need to know?

Olga Binder Ringquist talks on the subject and draws parallels between Russian and Western Millennials - differences and similarities.

As well as shares her own experience from working with this group of people in her daily working life.

I am very excited to invite you to our next SWEA Pro meeting!

Janet Wahlquist from Hong Kong will share her story with us and give us useful tips about health and fitness!
Janet is a personal trainer who has opened her own, very successful, Fitness Center in Hong Kong!
There will even be an opportunity to try out some exercises (optional!!) so if you want to bring some work-out clothes or put on your stretchy pants for work that day feel free to!

After the presentation there will be time for you to network and chat with others!
