TAIWAN INNOTECH EXPO 2026 (tie 2026) aims to showcase Taiwan's innovative technology capabilities, create international business opportunities, and drive industrial transformation - turning Taiwan into an international hub for R&D.

Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) formerly known as Taipei Int’l Invention Show and Technology (Taipei INST), has been held for over a decade. The exhibits are from a variety of categories, including agricultural products, chemical materials, textiles, machinery, hand tools, consumer electronics, computer hardware, software & peripherals, optical and optoelectronic, telecommunications, metals & hardware and biotechnology, etc.

The 22st Taiwan Innotech Expo (tie) is scheduled to take place at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from September 17 to 19, 2026. With the booming development of AI applications, inventors are expected to generate more innovative ideas, resulting in more breakthrough works being showcased at the event. It is hoped that the exhibition platform can assist outstanding inventors in bringing their technologies and products to the international market.

In order to attract foreign special professionals by relieving them from difficulties of applying for employment permits, changing employment, and not being able to work part-time – including the difficulty and inconvenience of requiring a separate employment permit application for every short-term paid employment as consultant or technical instructor in the private sector, even for just delivering a lecture – and taking reference from Singapore’s Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) scheme, Article 9 of the Foreign Professionals Act prescribes that “A foreign special professional who plans to engage in professional work in the State may apply direct to the NIA for a 4-in-1 Employment Gold Card that combines work permit, resident visa, ARC and re-entry permit.”
· Pursuant to this provision, the Ministry of the Interior has formulated the Regulations on Application for an Employment Gold Card by Foreign Special Professionals .

自2025年10月1日起，台灣全面實施電子入境申報系統 Taiwan Arrival Card（TWAC）。

ℹ️外籍旅客須知如下：

1️⃣於抵台前或抵達台灣時，請前往台灣電子入境申報專屬網站 Taiwan Arrival Card（TWAC）填寫相關資料。
2️⃣請以英文或繁體中文完成線上申報表單填寫。

3️⃣成功送出表單後，系統將發送確認訊息。旅客需在入境時，依照移民署人員要求，出示該確認畫面或憑證。

若為家庭或團體旅客，亦可由其中一人代為填寫一份表單（最多可填報16人）。

抵達機場後，如尚未完成填報，可使用機場提供之Wi-Fi進行申報。

1️⃣Перед приездом на Тайвань или по прибытии на остров, иностранцам необходимо перейти на специализированный портал Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC);

2️⃣Заполнить онлайн форму на английском языке или на традиционном китайском;

3️⃣Получить сообщение-подтверждение, которое по требованию нужно будет предъявить уполномоченным сотрудникам при пересечении границы.

Если вы путешествуете с семьей или в составе группы, один из вас может заполнить форму на несколько человек (до 16). Заполнить форму можно также в аэропорту, где у иностранцев есть доступ к сети wi-fi.
