Things you need to stop wasting time on
Worrying about the mistakes you’ve made

It’s OK if you mess up; that’s how you get wiser.
Give yourself a break.
Don’t give up.
Great things take time, and you’re getting there.
Let your mistakes be your motivation, not your excuses.
Decide right now that negative experiences from your past won’t predict your future.

Foods NOT to cook in an air fryer:
Food with a wet batter

You would want to avoid putting food that has a wet batter, like corndogs or tempura shrimp, in air fryers. Unless they’re pre-fried, you’ll want to avoid putting corndogs in your air fryer since the batter can make a mess.
Wet batter goes everywhere and, without a proper oil bath, the batter won’t set, which means it won’t be the crispy, fried item you hoped it would be.
Not only will the batter drip off the food during cooking and probably burn and stick to the bottom of your air fryer, but also end up chewy and not at all crispy.

Storing your potatoes so they last all year

The hardest work of the gardening season is over, and you’re bringing in your potato harvest.
Or maybe you’ve visited your local farmers’ market and got a little carried away buying farm fresh potatoes.
Nights of home fries and mashed potatoes await, but let’s be real; there’s only so much potato you can eat at one time.
If you leave these spuds on the kitchen counter, they will quickly start to sprout, so a different solution is necessary if you want to savor your crop throughout the winter.
But here’s the good news.
Generations of homesteaders have perfected the art of how to store homegrown potatoes, and you can reap the rewards of their experiments today.
Preserve your harvest for maximum enjoyment over the months to come.
There’s more than one way to store a potato.

Common Baking Substitution Questions
Can I use gluten-free flour?

When it comes to gluten-free flour, it is recommend going with a store-bought mix you’ve used with success in the past, whether that’s Cup for Cup, Measure for Measure, or something similar.
Don’t try to use it in baked goods that depend on the power of gluten for their existence, namely, breads and pastries, e.g., focaccia, rolls, challah, naan, brioche, and Danish. Those need gluten to survive.

Fruits & vegetables you shouldn’t be refrigerating
Hard squashes

You should store summer squash, like zucchini, in the fridge, but thick-skinned squash like acorn, butternut, or kabocha should stay at room temperature.
This is partially to preserve their texture, but it’s mostly because squash tend to take up a lot of real estate in the drawers and on the shelves of your fridge.
It’s crowded enough as it is in there, so keep those hard squash out on the counter and save that space for something else.

How does lab milk compare with other types of milk?

Until recently, milk alternatives have been completely plant-based.
These include almond, rice, coconut, and soy milk.
Their nutrients vary significantly between each type and even more so compared with cow’s milk.
For example, 1 cup, or 240 mL, of whole cow’s milk packs 7 grams of protein, 8 grams of fat, and 12 grams of carbs, while the same amount of unsweetened almond milk barely contains 3 grams of fat and 2 grams each of protein and carbs.
While fat and carb contents may differ among plant milks, all except soy milk are lacking in protein.
Further, many plant milks lack calcium and vitamin D unless the manufacturer adds these nutrients.
Conversely, lab milk is tailored to replicate the composition of carbs, fats, and high quality protein in cow’s milk.
In fact, Perfect Day’s flora-made protein contains beta lactoglobulin, cow milk’s major whey protein, identical to that of domesticated cows.
Keep in mind that specific nutrient information is unavailable since the product is still in development.

Giving yourself feedback

Editing is to compose, but better, what is emphasizing reading.
Instead of just filtering what you took in, you 're analyzing and changing what you've made.
You go through your work, line by line, and you say to yourself, "You've done a nice job here. You'll need to rework this.'
It's like being your own coach and at any profession, coaching is a vital part of improving.
Thinking is no different.
You don't need measurable performance to get input on yourself.
You may build a regular schedule, and maintain a map of accountability.
You should write down, and review, ten choices you make every day.
And though, when brushing teeth at night, you just look at yourself in the mirror and wonder, "What is one thing I am proud of today? "This is a positive measure to ensure that the decision taking processes are tracked and strengthened.

Time-wasting habits you need to break
Being unintentional with your time

The first step to using your time better is knowing how you’re spending it now. For a few days, or ideally a week, write down what you’re doing, as often as you remember. Think of yourself as a lawyer billing your time to different projects.

That’s the raw data. Start analyzing and categorizing time spent. How does this feel to you? What do you over- or under-invest in? What do you like most about your schedule? What would you like to change?”

Habits to ditch for success
Putting money first over learning

By choosing to focus on making money as your top priority, you may miss out on an opportunity to challenge yourself in a unique way or work in an environment where you are given more responsibility early on in your career.
If you invest the lion's share of the first part of your career in learning, you'll have a significant amount of earning potential in your tool box by the time you reach your 40s, which is typically when people start to earn higher levels of compensation.
Your career decisions over the next two to three decades can then be shifted to focus on earning, then learning and giving.
Then, once you are nearing the twilight of your career, you can pay it forward by shifting your priorities to giving, then learning and earning.

Ways to be Kinder to Yourself
Taking time to do nothing at all

Running from place to place and working on long to-do lists have become more and more ways of expressing the status of 'I'm so busy because I'm just so important,' the thought goes. Maybe it's time to avoid all of the busyness.

Being busy, if we are even occupied, is rarely the predictor of the position we have come to believe it is. Nonetheless, the effect is significant, and there are growing instances of burnout, anxiety disorders and stress-related diseases, not to mention millennial burnout.

One way out of that folly is to do nothing. Counter-intuitively, idleness can be a great tool for productivity, because if our energy is shot completely, our productivity will not be good because we won't have fuel to burn with which to be productive.

Psychological tricks to make anyone fall for you
Engaging them in talking about themselves

Most people love talking about themselves, so you can make use of this.
Ask them about their hobbies, the places they’ve been or might want to visit, plans for the weekend, and much more.
Don’t get too private, as this can make a person feel uncomfortable and they might even try to push you away.
Also, it’s good to avoid closed questions where the answer is just a simple “yes” or “no.”
Instead, make use of the question, “Why?” or “How?,” it gives the other person an awesome opportunity to talk more about a chosen topic.
