Dear colleagues,
I have an honor to inform you that in the period from May 31 to June 1 in St. Petersburg, on the basis of the City Hospital of the Holy Great George will be held the Second Scientific Conference and Master Class with international participation: "Revisional Bariatric Surgery"
The two-days conference program in the beatiful period of "white knights" includes a tight schedule, which includes a significant amount of “live surgery” with a live broadcast to the conference room in the performance and with comments from experienced experts, as well as a wide list of theoretical topics for discussion. The program includes satellite symposium on anesthesiology, plastic surgery after massive weight loss and conservative methods of treating obesity.
The following topical issues will be discussed during the event:
- Repeated interventions in bariatric surgery - To whom? When? What for? How?
- Weight gain after bariatric interventions - an action algorithm
- Emergency repeated post-bariatric interventions for early complications (action algorithm? Who should operate? Financing?)
- The value of the length of the loops of the small intestine with repeated bariatric operations
- Repeated surgery for late complications after bariatric interventions (stenosis, diaphragmatic hernia, anastomotic ulcers, deficient states)

The conference involves the leading Russian and world experts for the second time in St-Petersburg. It is planned to attract up to 300 surgeons, plastic surgeons, anaesthesiologists, endocrinologists, and related specialists, media coverage of the event.
