Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Emmanuel from for a special wellness session at IRC. 🧘‍♂️💚

Many of our team members are in recovery from substance addiction, and moments like this play a powerful role in the healing journey. Through yoga, we’re not just stretching our bodies—we’re building mental clarity, emotional strength, and a more positive mindset.

Wellness practices like these help improve brain readiness, decision-making, and overall wellbeing—for those in recovery and for staff alike.

Thank you, Emmanuel, for your time, care, and support. 💪

🌟 Hello Beautiful People! 🌟

Today has been a truly special day at Iwacu Recovery Centre! We had the great honor of welcoming two inspiring souls:

✨ Eric – our dear brother and proud IRC alumnus, whose journey continues to inspire hope.
✨ Pastor Stanley – the incredible founder of Baho Family Organization, a true beacon of love and restoration.

Spending the day together was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do – to heal, to connect, and to grow. 💖

We warmly invite you to visit us, be part of our journey, and feel the love and transformation that happens here every day. Come and witness the magic for yourself – you're always welcome at IRC! 💫

🌞 Hello good people! 🌞

We’re excited to introduce you to one of the kindest souls at Iwacu Recovery Centre; our dedicated nurse, Valens Twiringiyimana! 💙

Valens is with us every single day, bringing smiles, care, and professional guidance to everyone at the center. His positive energy and humble spirit make him a true blessing to our team and clients. 🙌😊

Today, Nurse Valens took a moment to make sure everyone received their deworming medicine; an important step in keeping our community healthy! 💊🩺

He also reminded us of the basics that matter most:
✅ Hygiene
✅ Sanitation
✅ Balanced nutrition

We are so lucky to have someone like Valens leading the way in daily care. His smile says it all! 💫

Got a kind word or thank-you message for Valens? Drop it in the comments! 💬👇
Let’s show him some love! 💚💚

On July 7th, 2025, Iwacu Recovery Centre successfully conducted a training session on Initiation to Mental Health and Personal Development.

We were honored to engage 15 participants, including mental health practitioners, teachers, social workers, young people, and individuals on the recovery journey.

This initiative is part of our ongoing mission to empower communities and promote healing. At IRC, we believe in recovery for all—because recovery is possible.

🤝 We welcome partners to join us in advancing mental health and holistic recovery.

In the occupational approach, we focus on promoting the cultivation of essential crops, such as fruits and vegetables, in Agriculture. Through group sessions, our beneficiaries are educated on the harmful effects of alcohol abuse, a prevalent issue that severely impacts individuals in the villages. Many thanks to Live Well Rwanda for helping in implementing the project.
