🌿 Yoga in the Park – A Morning of Connection & Calm 🌿

In honor of International Yoga Day, we warmly invite you to a gentle morning yoga session on Sunday, 22nd June from 7:30 to 8:30 AM, nestled in the calm of Kimihurura Roundabout.

🧘‍♀️ Guided by Nafe, this all-levels practice is an opportunity to move with intention, breathe deeply, and connect—with nature, with community, and with yourself.

This gathering is offered on donation, with all contributions going to support the meaningful work of the in sharing peace and mindfulness through yoga.

🌸 Held in collaboration with the , , and Azahar Foundation, this event is a celebration of unity, well-being, and the power of presence.

🚗 Free parking is available at the RRA parking lot, just a short walk from the roundabout. Or you can ride or walk if you prefer.

Bring your mat, an open heart, and join us for a quiet, meaningful start to your Sunday. All ages welcome.

Kwibuka 31 — We Remember.

Today, we honor the memory of over one million lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We remember the pain, the loss, and the resilience of survivors who carry these stories forward.

As we reflect on the past, we do so with purpose. This history calls us not only to mourn, but to learn—and to act. It reminds us of the importance of compassion, understanding, and the shared responsibility to stand against hatred in all its forms.

In remembrance, we renew our commitment to peace.
In grief, we choose unity.
In memory, we find strength to build a future rooted in dignity for all.

This event will be held at YOkiGAli in Kacyiru. Please be advised: Doors will CLOSE at 8:30 sharp!! YOkiGAli and KWH have teamed up to present an evening of pure expression through movement, freedom of the body, and the joy of feeling.

This immersive SILENT DISCO experience will foster an atmosphere of presence, trust, and liberation, inviting you to move freely and connect with the vibrant energy of the night.

Here are some guidelines to consider:

1. Respect Yourself and Others: Honour your personal journey and the space of those around you. Be aware of personal space, as everyone may move differently.

2. Free Movement: Let your body move as it desires, without worrying about rules or choreography. Allow your natural impulses to guide you.

3. Non-Verbal Communication: You can communicate through your body, facial expressions, and eye contact, but avoid taking your headphones off and talking during the experience. The absence of speech allows participants to dive deeper into their own experience.

4. Comfortable Attire: Wear loose, comfortable and fun clothes that let you move freely.

5. No Alcohol: To maintain clarity and openness, please refrain from consuming alcohol before & during the experience.

6. Arrive Early: Arriving a little earlier helps you settle in and get comfortable before the movement begins, especially if you’re new.

7. No Phones during the DJ set: Although there will be an opportunity to take photos upon arrival with your friends. During the music segment we kindly ask that you stay focused on the here and now - put your phones away, let go of distractions and immerse yourself in the movement and the energy of the space.

8. Safety: While the experience is all about expression and freedom, make sure your movements are safe for both yourself and others around you.

These guidelines help create a space where participants can freely explore movement, connect with their bodies, and be part of a collective energy.
