Last week, Fellow Jean Bosco Nzeyimana spoke at The MasterCard Foundation's second annual Young Africa Works Summit in Kigali, Rwanda. In his speech, Jean Bosco addressed some of the key challenges facing farmers in Rwanda today: difficult market access, poor crop storage, and reluctance to changing agricultural methods designed to adapt their livelihood to climate change. Through his company Habona Limited, which produces biomass briquettes and fresh organic fertilizers, Jean Bosco is helping small scale farmers tackle these challenges, redesigning their farms to adapt to new realities the industry is facing.
