Family therapy can help you improve troubled relationships with your partner, children or other family members. You may address specific issues such as marital or financial problems, conflict between parents and children, or the impact of substance abuse or a mental illness on the entire family.

Laughter and smiles don't always reflect what's happening inside.

Mental health matters just as much as physical health.

Let's break the silence, share our struggles, and support each other.

Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Together, we can create a more compassionate and understanding community.

Effective Communication:

When you take care of your mental well-being, you enhance your ability to communicate effectively with your child.

The quality of any relationship depends upon the quality of Communication

Connecting with teenagers can sometimes feel challenging, but with a few simple strategies, we can foster better communication with our kids.

First, it's important to actively listen to them without judgment, showing genuine interest in their thoughts and feelings.

Second, create a safe and open environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. Encourage regular conversations, both casual and serious, to strengthen the bond.

Third, respect their opinions and give them space to grow and make decisions.

Lastly, find shared activities or hobbies to enjoy together, building positive experiences.

By using these approaches, parents can bridge the communication gap and connect with their teenager kid's more effectively providing valuable feedback.

Self-Care:

Engaging in self-care activities is crucial for maintaining mental well-being.

By taking time for yourself,
pursuing hobbies,
seeking support from loved ones, or engaging in relaxation techniques like meditation or mindfulness, you recharge and replenish your energy, enabling you to be more present and attentive to your child's needs.

Remember, being a good mother starts with taking care of yourself.

Prioritizing your mental well-being not only benefits you but also positively impacts your child's development and overall well-being.

So self love self compassion are crucial and being gentle to yourself is one basic lesson we can teach them only by practicing them first!

By valuing and nurturing our physical and mental health, we demonstrate the importance of self-care and self-compassion.

This teaches your child to prioritize their own well-being as they grow.😊

Role Model:

As a mother, you are a role model for your child.

Now one thing i would like to say here is ...we often hear this statement that you are a mother and you are a role model for your kids so you SHOULD or shouldn't or must or mustn't do this

Iam not denying the fact that kids learn from us and they follow our footsteps iam just trying to emphasize on the fact that along with role models we are Humans too

We went to schools colleges universities got our degress and certificates for multiple qualifications but it never included a Parenting certificate???

No one taught us how to be a parent?

We all are learning and doing our best jobs raising our kids

So dont be so harsh on yourself while doing your best Because i know Motherly guilt is for real

but we also know that
humans are fallible we all make mistakes and we all learn from them

That doesn't mean we are wrong it just means we all are learning and improving with every passing day

So its ok to make mistakes!!

So next time some mistake happens
just sit down
talk about it
accept it and
instead of regretting over it pick up the lesson and try to improve

Kids will observe and learn that too😊

I believe in order to get the best version of our kids we as nation builders need to be the best version of ourselves first and foremost!!!

Mothers play a crucial role in their children's lives, and their mental well-being is essential for being a good mother.

Taking care of your own mental health is not selfish

it's a vital part of being able to provide the love, care, and support your child needs.

There are a few key points to consider ...i will discuss them one by one for better understanding

Emotional intelligence:

We cannot help our kids in processing their emotions if we dont know how to process our own???

Just telling a kid to
Stop crying
Dont cry
People are looking at you
what will they think of you or me??

All of these statements lead to building a belief that crying is embarrassing and not normal

By repeating the same process every time someone cries we make a new belief that crying is a sign of weakness or not very good thing

I grew up with the same belief and never tried to question it neither i had the awareness that
"We are allowed to change the beliefs that doesn't serve us"

Sadness is an emotion like all other emotions and crying is the physical expression for that emotional buildup

It helps to release those emotions and let us all process the feelings that come with those emotions

So lets teach and train our kids to process their emotions rather than bottling them up

Lets break the association between sadness and weakness

Lets make our kids emotionally intelligent!!

Amd it all starts with you...next time you feel sad n want to cry dont try to hide yourself or put a brave face...

Let them know "iam feeling Sad and its ok to feel sad and cry"

And crying doesn't mean i am not brave or iam weak it makes me HUMAN!!!

Tell them
Its ok to cry n feel sad

When you are emotionally balanced, you can respond to your child's needs with patience, empathy, and understanding.😊

From today onwards i would like to call all of you not just Mothers But Nation builders😊
Yesss
You are the true nation builders,
shaping the future with your love and dedication.

So its a huge responsibility and taking care of ourselves is mandatory

Remember, taking care of yourself is not selfish
it is an act of love towards your children.

Take care of your own well-being, for in doing so, you provide a strong foundation for your little ones to thrive.

Embrace self-care as a powerful tool to nourish your soul,
replenish your energy,
and inspire your children with the importance of self-love.

You are incredible, and your journey as a mother is a gift to the world.

And just dont listen to those who tell you otherwise 😉😁

Have a blessed day😊

What is Anxiety?

The constant need to be in control.

Approving with somebody when you just want to share your side of the story.

Always check to see how you physically look.

Repeatedly worrying about whether your words have or have not hurt someone.

Always looking for reassurance from others about health, social status, abilities, and more.

This is anxiety.

OVERTHINKING!!

overthinking is when you stay or worry about the same thought constantly and struggle to make decisions or take action.

When met with a major decision — selecting a university, swapping careers, purchasing a car, getting married or divorced — you presumably think long and painfully about the possible consequences.

This brings in a lot of sense:

A significant expenditure or life change requires thoughtful and detailed consideration,

But occasionally you might discover you’re going around virtually every opinion over and over in your mind.

You may be hanging around on even little options and wondering about “what-ifs” so extensively that you become frozen with inactivity

Experts call this overthinking.

What Causes Overthinking?

While overthinking itself is not a mental ailment, it is associated with conditions including depression, anxiety, eating problems, and substance use illnesses.

You might even persuade yourself that thinking about something for an extended time is the key to evolving the promising solution. But that’s usually not the case.

How to stop overthinking??

I am listing down a few of the many steps you can start practicing to manage your overthinking habit.

1. Recognize your unhelpful destructive thought patterns.

2. Manipulate your story

3. Learn to make peace with your past.

4. Practice mindfulness

5. Manage your emotions by taking control of them.

6. Concentrate on solutions

7. Understand and learn the difference between a thought and a fact.

8. Ask yourself the correct questions.

9. Acknowledge Your achievements.

10. Practice self-love and meditate.

And last but for sure not the least
