Mr Gelbaya is a Consultant Gynaecologist and sub specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at University Hospitals of Leicester (Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital). He sees patients with gynaecological problems at Spire Leicester Hospital, Leicester. Mr Gelbaya also runs a private fertility and assisted conception clinic at Leicester Fertility Centre. Mr Gelbaya is supported by a great team of consultant colleagues, specialist nurses, counsellors, and administrative staff. Mr GELBAYA is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and an accredited subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He has vast experience in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for the treatment of endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids, ovarian cysts, tubal surgery and other benign gynaecological conditions. Mr Gelbaya is especially interested in pelvic pain, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, infertility, assisted conception and gynaecological endocrinology. He has expertise in gynaecological ultrasound and management of early pregnancy problems, including recurrent miscarriage. Mr Gelbaya is a is also an associate member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), British Medical Association (BMA) and the British Fertility Society (BFS). Mr Gelbaya is a regular organiser of national courses and meetings in the field of gynaecology, infertility, assisted conception, gynaecological endocrinology and ultrasound. He is one of the members of the ESHRE Special Interest Groups in Reproductive Surgery and endometriosis. Mr Gelbaya has published widely on many aspects of gynaecology, reproductive medicine and surgery, and has written several textbook chapters. Mr Gelbaya has presented at many national and international meetings and conferences. He is an ad-hoc reviewer for many international scientific journals and publishers.
