Birthing Innocence - antenatal and postnatal advice

Birthing Innocence - antenatal and postnatal advice Peace of mind for mums and dads
(www.birthing-innocence.com) The first thing that people ask is how to pronounce my Irish name: ‘Eee-fa’.

I have been a qualified General Nurse since 1999 and subsequently qualified as a Midwife in 2004. I started my profession in Ireland but moved to Saudi Arabia in April 2006. Here I began working in the Obstetrics and Gynecology ward at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital. Initially I started as a staff nurse and then was promoted to a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. During my time in Jeddah I have also lectured in Midwifery and General Nursing at Dar Al Hekma College, presented at an International Nursing Conference and briefly worked for the Saudi Royal Family. Most importantly though is that I met my husband Tim here and together we have three beautiful children, Connor, Ella and Keenan. Midwifery is my passion. It is a truly humbling experience, and a great honour, when families ask me for guidance during and after their pregnancy, to help them bring a new life into the world. Parenthood can be quite daunting but as I mother of three myself, I know that a little reassurance can go a long way. This is why I hope that Birthing Innocence™ will continue to be of benefit to couples around the world.
