Beauty is a divine entity; it lies in almost every creation around us in art, music, nature, people, even animals and plants. The pursuit of beauty and perfection is considered as an eternal cause since it began with the creation of man. Over the ages, many civilizations and cultures have set standards for the definition of beauty and now in the 21st century these standards have not changed significantly, in fact they are the foundation of every modern theory or scientific approach to define beauty. As a child I was always fascinated by the ancient icons of beauty like nephritides, Aphrodite, Cleopatra and the Mona Lisa. I was interested to find out what made them historical monuments
Why were they considered beautiful? As I grew up my understanding of beauty grew with me, in my opinion beauty has two main components the Internal "spiritual" and the External "physical" these complement and complete each other and should not be separated when describing a certain individual. While the beauty of soul is universally defined by a person's character, spiritual quality, intelligence and morals, physical beauty is not. Physical beauty is perceived by our senses and therefore varies between and within societies. Man kind has been blessed with all sort of extraordinary qualities and perhaps one of the most important is thou face. Although facial beauty "truly lies in the eye of the beholder", some qualities, features and certain proportions are universally esteemed. I aim to sub specialize in facial plastic surgery because I truly believe that every face is unique, & has its own beauty , it just takes a really talented, motivated, caring surgeon to bring this beauty to the light. I plan to enhance the sense of well being of my patients and help them release the beauty they already possess by achieving the best possible, long lasting, functional and natural appearing results.
