هناك علامات تشير إلى إصابة القطط بالتهاب البنكرياس، وهي الغثيان، والقيء، والحمى، بالإضافة إلى الشعور بالخمول وآلام في البطن، وقد تترافق مع الإسهال وانخفاض الشهية.

اختبار SNAP fPL هو الاختبار الوحيد المصمم لتحديد مستوى إنزيم الليباز في البنكرياس لدى القطط، ويُظهر النتائج في غضون 10 دقائق فقط، كما يعطي إحدى النتيجتين التاليتين:
- نسبة مستوى الليباز "طبيعية".
- نسبة مستوى الليباز "غير طبيعية".

The signs indicating pancreatitis in cats include nausea, vomiting, fever, lethargy, abdominal pain, and may be accompanied by diarrhea and decreased appetite.

The SNAP fPL test is the only test designed to measure the level of lipase enzyme in the pancreas of cats. Results are available in just 10 minutes, providing either a “normal” or “abnormal” lipase level.
