Aster Sanad Hospital started its operation in 2008 in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with about 20 outpatient clinics, 70 beds in general wards, 18 in Intensive Care Units and 22 in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, with around 40 physicians and 12 specialties. The Hospital then expanded its reach in Saudi Arabia with more than 145 beds in wards, 41 beds in Intensive care units and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, outpatient department expanded to 45 clinics and 7 specialized clinics. Aster Sanad Hospital became a part of Aster DM Healthcare group in 2008, a healthcare network over 371 operating facilities across 9 countries, including 25 hospitals, 115 clinics & 231 retail pharmacies.
