In my era of calling out the BS.

there are too many people using practices for show, likes, to make money, to look “good”. respect the practice (whatever space you are in) respect the space. respect your teacher, practitioner, leader, coach, guide.

not everything is meant to be “sampled”. and then abandoned when it becomes uncomfortable or because we are “on to the next trend”. real practice asks for our honesty and reflection. accountability.

If we are willing to step into these spaces or contact practitioners, we should also be willing to look at our own intentions and be honest about why we are there.

everything is vibration, and everything is energy including our emotions 🌀 when our internal state shifts, our emotional experience shifts with it.

sound healing helps you:

• rebalance your energy
• drop into deep stillness
• release emotional blocks
• lighten mental overload
• guide your nervous system into “rest & digest”

as you lie down, soften and slow your breath, you become more receptive to each sound travelling through the body. sound acts as a pathway to a deeper sense of presence, to a deeper sense of stillness.

in this state, the body feels safe and the mind can finally slow. stress dissolves, tension releases and emotional clarity begins to emerge.

note: sound therapy is not a replacement for talk therapy. it can be used alongside therapy or practiced on its own for meditation, self-enquiry, relaxation or self-care.

yoga is a gift! It shifts the mind, body, spirit and sharing that experience with others & seeing them feel its benefits is priceless.

as with everything, its an exchange. without your receptivity & openess there is no flow 🙏🏼 two months in holding this little space and I am tooting all the yoga horns. all hail to the practice!

yoga is not stretching or breathwork.

“yoga is the science of right living, and, as such, is intended to be incorporated in daily life. It works on all aspects of the person: the physical, vital, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual” - Swami Satyananda Saraswati

“yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind” - Patanjali, Yoga Sutra 1.2

In our sessions, we practice:

• asana ~ postures. that position which is comfortable and steady.

• pranayama: prana means vital energy / life force. pranayama utilizes breathing to influence the flow of prana in the nadies (energy channels) of the pranayama body (energy body).

we not only move with the breath but learn particular pranayam practices.

• dhyana ~ meditation: the uninterrupted, continous flow of concentration on a specific object or point.

• nada yoga ~ yoga of sound: sound healing, chanting, silence.

• ahimsa ~ non-violence: first and foremost to our bodies 🫶🏼

yoga is not a religion, but a way of life and a high quality one.
