For as long as I can remember, I struggled with my weight. I would try exercising, I would try to control my eating… but nothing seemed to work. Every failed attempt only pushed me deeper into depression.

The real turning point came the day I stepped on the scale and saw 112 kilograms. That number hit me so hard. I remember just standing there, numb. I didn’t even know about weight loss injections back then all I knew was that I had to face reality and do something about it.

In February, I started exercising seriously. I lost 3 kilograms. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to give me hope. And sometimes, hope is all you need to keep going.

Then one day, I came across someone sharing their journey with Scardale Diet and the medicine tirzepatide. Curiosity led me to research, ask questions, and finally call the clinic Panafricare. They invited me for a consultation. Normally, I’m the type of person who would never dare try something like this. But something in me felt different this time.

At the clinic, I met Doctor Richard and the nurses. I felt nervous at first, but the way they explained everything the science, the process, what to expect gave me confidence. By the end of that visit, I knew… I was ready.

On July 30th, I took my first dose. At that time, I weighed 108 kg. The first week, I didn’t feel much in terms of side effects. But when I went back for my review after 7 days, something amazing happened… I had lost 2.8 kilograms.

That moment was priceless. For the first time in years, I felt like my efforts were paying off.

From then on, every visit to the clinic became a highlight of my week. Miss Rita from reception would even call if I wasn’t there by 9 a.m. on Wednesdays. And my two incredible nurses Miss Alice and Miss Juliet were my biggest cheerleaders. They celebrated every little victory with me. They made sure I never felt alone in this journey.

By my 8th dose not even two months later I had lost 10 kilograms.

It’s hard to describe how that feels after years of disappointment. This treatment hasn’t just changed my body. It’s changed my mindset, my energy, and most importantly, my relationship with myself.

And today… I’m at 98 kilograms. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time, I believe in myself.

Remember eat protein-rich foods, as per prescribed diet, keep your body moving, and trust the process. Because sometimes, the best decision you’ll ever make… is the one you thought you’d never dare to.

I started the weight loss programme on 19th of August by using composite system of diet with physical activity and GLP-1 injections with my weight which was around 102 kg. I have completed 5 weeks and I am now 96.5 kg. Down 5.5 kg.

I started the programme as a recommendation from my specialist as I needed to lose weight and fast. I decided to choose Panafricare as I felt they were offering a better and organized program with Doctor consultation prior to and follow ups on a weekly basis by the qualified and very kind nurses. The support system is really amazing. The service staff are always available for concerns and advise.

Since I started the program I have seen not only decreased in weight but improvement in my blood pressure, my sleep, my blood sugar and most of all I feel really good waking up every morning .

It is important however that one takes part of the responsibility by eating healthily and exercising (by walking) at least 3 times .
