خرائط توضح تقلص مساحات الغابية في السودان عبر السنين .

الخريطة الأولى توضح مقدار فقدان السودان للغابات من عام 2000م حتى عام 2023م في كل ولايات السودان ، حيث أن عام 2011م هو أكثر الأعوام تأثرا و قد شهد فقد كبير للمساحات الغابية ومن الولايات التي شهدت تضرر هي النيل الأزرق و جنوب دارفور، مع الاخذ في الاعتبار اكثر المساحات الغابية في السودان هي في الجنوب والجنوب الغربي للسودان. مع توقع انبعاثات الكربون الإجمالية المخزنة في الغابات نتيجة لفقدان القطاع الغابي.

الخريطة الثانية توضح فقدان الغابات في محلية تلودي نتيجة للقطع الجائر من عام 2000 حتى عام 2024، حيث تضررت الغابة خلال سنوات مختلفة نتيجة القطع الجائر فيها.





The campaign shares with you satellite images that show the impact of wars and political unrest on forest areas.

The first map shows the extent of Sudan's forest loss from 2000 to 2023 in all states of Sudan, with 2011 being the most affected year and witnessing a significant loss of forest areas. The states that witnessed damage are Blue Nile and South Darfur, taking into account that the largest forest areas in Sudan are in the south and southwest of Sudan. With the expectation of total carbon emissions stored in forests as a result of the loss of the forest sector.

The second map shows the loss of forests in Talodi locality as a result of illegal logging from 2000 to 2024, as the forest was damaged during different years as a result of illegal logging.

قرية ود النورة قرية صغيرة تبلغ مساحتها 1.6 كيلومتر مربع. القرية محاطة بالمناطق الزراعية، ويبلغ الحرم المكاني للقرية 2.5 كيلومتر حيث تقع داخله مناطق زراعية فقط، وتمتد المنطقة الزراعية لمسافة 5 كيلومترات إضافية. ضمن نطاق 10 كيلومترات، توجد بعض القرى وعددها 5، ولا يوجد أي معسكر أو منطقة عسكرية تابعة للجيش في محيط القرية، كما يظهر في الفيديو أدناه.

تصريحات الناطق الرسمي باسم مليشيات الدعم السريع حول اقتحام القرية بسبب تواجد ثلاث معسكرات حولها هي تصريحات خالية من الصحة ومجرد كذب وتدليس. القرية تقع في منطقة حرمها المكاني 10 كيلومترات، وأقرب قرية تبعد حوالي 5 كيلومترات. في الجوار، لا توجد سوى 5 قرى فقط، ولا يوجد أي أثر لمنشآت عسكرية في هذه القرى أيضاً، مما يثبت كذب ادعاءات مليشيات الدعم السريع.

Wad Al-Noora is a small village with an area of 1.6 square kilometers. The village is surrounded by agricultural areas, and its spatial perimeter is 2.5 kilometers, within which only agricultural areas are found. The agricultural zone extends an additional 5 kilometers. Within a radius of 10 kilometers, there are some villages, totaling five. There are no military camps or army areas in the vicinity, as shown in the video below.

Statements by the spokesperson of the Rapid Support Forces militia about storming the village due to the presence of three camps around it are false and merely deceptive. The village is located in an area with a radius of 10 kilometers, and the nearest village is approximately 4 kilometers away. In the vicinity, there are only five villages, and there are no signs of military facilities in these villages either, which proves the falsehood of the Rapid Support Forces militia's claims.

دراسة توضح تدهور المساحات المزروعة بولاية الخرطوم نتيجة للاضطرابات السياسية والحرب في السودان

من عام 2016 إلى 2020، زادت المساحة المزروعة بولاية الخرطوم بشكل مطرد من 571.512 كم² إلى 743.274 كم²، بفضل الظروف المستقرة والمشاريع التنموية. ولكن في عام 2021، انخفضت المساحة إلى 677.018 كم²، مما يشير إلى بداية اتجاه تنازلي. يعزى الانخفاض الكبير في عام 2022 إلى 344.723 كم² إلى الاضطرابات السياسية وتأثيرات ثورة 2019.

Study Highlights Decline in Cultivated Areas in Khartoum State Due to the Revolution and War Against RSF Militias

From 2016 to 2020, the cultivated area in Khartoum State increased steadily from 571.512 km² to 743.274 km², thanks to stable conditions and developmental projects. However, in 2021, the area declined to 677.018 km², marking the beginning of a downward trend. The significant drop in 2022 to 344.723 km² is attributed to political instability and the impacts of the 2019 revolution.

The situation worsened with the onset of war in April 2023, leading to a reduction in cultivated area to 429.969 km² in 2023 and a drastic drop to 149.096 km² in 2024.

Regarding the mean NDVI values, they showed relative stability between 2016 and 2021, fluctuating slightly between 0.33 and 0.344, indicating relatively consistent vegetation health during these years. However, in 2022, the mean NDVI dropped significantly to 0.268, coinciding with the substantial reduction in area, reflecting the adverse effects of political instability and environmental degradation.

In 2023 and 2024, the mean NDVI values showed slight improvements to 0.285 and 0.271 respectively, but remain significantly lower than the pre-2022 values, indicating ongoing challenges in vegetation health, likely exacerbated by the war that started in April 2023.
