EDADS aims to untangle the heterogeneity of Alzheimer’s disease by defining data-driven subtypes of its clinical manifestation based on brain imaging, cognitive markers, and fluid biomarkers that are robustly identifiable from predictive risk.

E-DADS (https://e-dads.github.io/) is seeking subjects (as per Patients and Public Involvement) to develop a clinical prototype (https://youtu.be/9ODCo8CcnVM) useful for the patient needs. The information about Alzheimer's disease (e.g.: what do brain MRI results mean, what are the differences between the AD subtypes, how can lifestyle habits affect Alzheimer's disease, etc..) is important and needs to be communicated to patients and caregivers, but it is not clear how this info is understood!

Below is a snapshot of our MRI brain analyses used to develop the prototype of E- DADS for early detection of the Alzheimer's disease subtype!

E-DADS reaches a milestone: 93% of volumetric brain scans have been processed by IRCCS Fatebenefratelli Hospital and soon many imaging biomarkers will be used to develop data-driven tools for AD subtyping.
